Aragorn Lotr Novels & Stories

Seeing all the greens on branches we dodged, we tried to outrun this. We tried to outrun everything! The forest and all the different colors of flowers that sprung from vines that snaked up the tree from the tree trunks all blurred together through Aragorn's peripheral vision. Jumping over fallen trees, getting whipped by tree branches as Aragorn dodges, bob, and weaves through the forest, we push ourselves, going even further into the forest's depths. Aragorn and I both needed this. We ran and ran some more..... Slowing down, we stopped at a small clearing leading out to a cliff. Aragorn howls and howls for our fallen pack member and warrior.

In the center, Aragorn lay swaddled in robes of white and gold. Seraphina raised the Heart of Thorns above him. “By the ancient rite,” she intoned, “we name you Aragorn, child of light, guardian of the Thorned Circle.” Cassie’s tears of exhaustion and joy dripped onto Aragorn’s robes. “Welcome, my son,” she whispered. “You are hope made flesh.” Bain placed a hand over Aragorn’s heart. “We vow to shield you,” he promised. “As long as light can burn in darkness.”
