The Alpha's Freakshow

The Alpha's Freakshow

Rosie stiffens as she stares out the window. I follow her worried line of sight when another crack of thunder rumbles and lightning marches across the sky illuminating the trees. I can see a flash of wolves descending on us for a moment, and panic takes hold of me. There is no way Angus’ pack found us. Not yet. We have avoided roads and driving at all costs, sticking to the deep woods where I know they will be hesitant to look. Another crack and flash show the pack moving closer with each lightning strike. “Jacob,” I say calmly, calling him over.

Just finished reading this for the second time. It is such a great, well-written book! It is a wonderful departure from the "normal" werewolf story. It is truly one of a kind. I also especially love the raw emotions and character development.

I enjoyed this book but I felt the issue with his brother was left unresolved...not sure if that's going to be a separate book or not. abe was supposed to have a meeting with Wade but we didn't find out what happened. I will continue reading the wonderful books written by this author

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

*Growl* The wolf growled feeling the threatening aura; but there was a hint of familiarity within that aura that confused it. It left its cave and came outside, witnessing a darkened sky with numerous bolts of lightning dancing across the clouds. As the thunderous sounds gave birth to rain, the red eyes of the wolf lit up in surprise and joy. The rain that was born from this energy was deadly and dangerous. The trees that accepted this baptism of rain melted into nothingness as soon as they were touched by a few drops and every beast that was drenched by the waters died immediately after; but there was one beast that didn’t experience this.

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

Taming The Alpha King’s Demon Wolf

Taming The Alpha King’s Demon Wolf

Suddenly, she began to hear the howling of wolves, she stood and gasped for breath, what could be happening? Her heart was pounding in her chest as she heard the howling of the wolves coming closer, their eerie calls sending shivers down her spine. She felt her palms growing sweaty and her breath quickening as she saw the pack of wolves emerge from the darkness of the forest. They howled again, a sound that chilled her to the bone. Her eyes widened with fear as she saw their sharp teeth glinting in the moonlight. She felt a cold sweat break out on her skin as the wolves began to circle her, their eyes locked onto her like prey.

Alpha Kaden’s Second mate

Alpha Kaden’s Second mate

I yelled, but before I knew it Kaden was flying around the road and landed on his back with a loud thud. Abruptly, a cacophony of snarls shattered the tranquility, tearing through the air like a piercing alarm. From the surrounding wilderness, two unchanged males and a pack of eight rabid wolves emerged, their eyes burning with a frenzied hunger that sent shivers down my spine. Fear gripped me, causing my heart to race, and I instinctively tightened my grip on belly but my palms slick with a sheen of sweat.

The Stolen Alpha

The Stolen Alpha

Visibility plummeted to near zero, and even Tristan's acute wolf senses struggled to penetrate the veil. The storm's fury intensified, and a flash flood swept through the valley, washing away tracks and scents. Tristan adapted, drawing upon his knowledge of the terrain and wolf behavior to navigate the chaos. Just when it seemed impossible to continue, a faint howl pierced the storm's cacophony. Tristan's heart racing, he followed the cry, his wolf instincts guiding him through the tempest.

ECLIPSE BORN

ECLIPSE BORN

Another flash of lightning— The closest corrupter turned his head. I shut my eyes. Please. Please keep going. Please don’t smell me. Please don’t— “She’s out here,” one snarled suddenly and my heart collapsed inside my chest. But then another strike of lightning hit the nearby ridge, startling the corrupted wolves. They flinched, recoiling from the brightness. “Storm’s worsening,” one muttered. “We lose her trail in this.” “No! Gregon will rip out our throats,” another protested.

Freya Rose Book Two ~ Abandoned By An Alpha

Freya Rose Book Two ~ Abandoned By An Alpha

I looked at Aiden and he just had a huge grin on his face. I was so upset and pissed off, because it was all Aiden's fault. He was just stood there smirking at me, so I sped up and charged right at him. Landon quickly shifted ready to fight me, but just before I got to them I let out an ear-piercing screech. I knew from their last reaction; wolves can't handle the high-pitched sound. All four of them instantly dropped to the floor screaming, and then fumbled about trying to quickly cover their ears.

The Bet That Cost Him His Mate

The Bet That Cost Him His Mate

The downpour began. I instinctively flinched, all the color draining from my face. I had a crippling fear of thunderstorms. When I was a pup, I was attacked by rogue wolves during a stormy night. The trauma had haunted me ever since. Wyatt knew this. During our first year together, to calm my fears, he held my shaking body and wrote a vow on a piece of paper: "I, Wyatt, swear on my wolf that for every thunderstorm from now on, I will hold Valerie in my arms and never let her face the dark alone."

Winter Wolf

Winter Wolf

I have never seen this side of when we met as wolves. Closing his eyes when the white wolf charged Rex, feeling not only the pain of that white wolf’s hits, but the emotional counter blows that the black and white wolf was forced to use in order to chip away at the white wolf’s wolf spirit, strength, and stamina, forcing the white wolf into exhaustion so he would phase back. Every time the two wolves collided, there was a impact of thunder to the air with no sound, and a flash of ice and black snow that swirled as their auras entangled with each other. Rex already knew the outcome to this battle.

Wolf

Wolf

At least not to me, maybe to others. "Wolves use howling to communicate with each other, and trust me when I say it gives you goosebumps." I nodded at Alastor, and just like we planned he started howling. It echoed off everything. It was a deep hollow sound. The females backed up their Alpha and howled with him, but you couldn't hear them over him. The group gasped in surprise and took plenty of photos and videos. I winked at Alastor, and it almost looked like he winked back. I'll have to write that down later.
