*Monroe's POV* It’s finally prom night. We all get ready at my house with the exception of Brett and Jason who are getting ready with they’re dates. Deciding to go along with the casino royale theme, I wear a tight, low-cut black dress with a slit up my left side. Maddy is wearing an a-line, v-neck red dress with a slit up the side and Charlie is wearing a long-sleeved off the shoulder, fitted green dress with, you guessed it, a slit up the side. Cade, Xander and Matt look hot as fuck in their tuxedos when they come to pick us up.

Orion threw his head back with a chuckle, as he raised his head as his eyes met with those caramel brown eyes. "Heck yeah" he muttered as he stared at the two figures that stepped into the hall. Magnolia was dressed in a red tank top that hugged her huge breasts and a black short that was accompanied with fish net stockings, her thigh high boots made her look hot. Her name up was soft but smoky at the same time and she had this alluring style on her lips. Astrid hung on her arm wearing a charming smile, they had similar outfit but she wore a white cropped top instead.

Will and Anthony grabbed a large cooler from the truck's bed, and Brindle and the other girls hurried out from the cramped small backseat. “I’ll have the car ready at four. Just in case.” Saturday arrived with cold rain and gray skies. Victoria stood in front of her closet for the second time in a month, trying to choose armor. Not the silk dress that made her feel dangerous. Something quieter. Something that said I am not afraid of you, but I am also not trying to impress you. She settled on a cashmere sweater the color of heather and simple black trousers. Minimal jewelry. Hair down, no heavy makeup. She looked like herself—not Victoria Hamilton, corporate warrior, and not Victoria the grieving widow or Victoria the scandalous second wife. Just Victoria.

She felt confident and beautiful in the new dress. She walked out to see the other girls were all dressed up too. Georgia was wearing a black crop-top with wide-bottom leather pants, and black high-heeled sandals. Charlotte was in a short and tight red dress and Marina wore a see-through black mesh shirt, and a black bra underneath, paired with denim shorts and high-heeled boots. Eden felt wildly underdressed. All the girls were dressed like they could walk a ramp as a professional model, while she just stood in her plain white dress and converse. She thought she should have gone with something more party-like.

Without the heavy stage makeup of the catwalk, she fully expected no one to connect her with the renowned fashion icon. Jor and Amy chuckled, their own dark hair also having been replaced by shades of blonde. Only Margie now sported black hair with subtle red streaks running through it, a nod to her own personal style. All four were dressed in short denim shorts paired with airy sweaters and comfortable sports shoes, ready for anything the road might bring. Anna unfolded the large route map they had purchased earlier that morning at a small, independent bookstore.

Lynn's POV I stood in Armstrong's massive walk-in closet, wrapped in a towel, staring at rows of expensive suits and designer clothes. Everything was organized with military precision…shirts arranged by color, shoes lined up perfectly, even his ties were coordinated. I had nothing. The black dress I'd worn last night was pooled on the bedroom floor. My purse was somewhere in the living room. That was the sum total of my possessions. "Marcus is bringing clothes for you." I jumped, spinning around. Armstrong stood in the doorway, freshly showered, wearing nothing but low-slung black pants. Water droplets still clung to his chest and shoulders. I forced myself to look away, my cheeks heating.

And I'd been in awe of every single thing Lilith Montclair owned, from clothes to shoes and bags and her entire wardrobe collection. Rich people sure did have it better. Because how else can the endless luxurious pieces be explained? Pieces I could only wish for, in my previous life. Now, they all just casually belonged to me. Even the perfumes bottles were either Dior or MariK, fucking YSL. God, this is the life. I picked out a leather corset dress, mid-thigh length and body fitting. Then I paired it with black knee high boots. It seemed like the perfect image for an event like the one I was expected at, tonight.
