Arya stood before the tomb, her body shaking with sobs as she gazed upon the final resting place of her son, Akira. The tomb, reserved for descendants of the alpha lineage, was a poignant reminder of the legacy that had once belonged to her family, but now rested with Damian. Luna Seraphine's gentle touch and soothing words offered little comfort as Arya's grief consumed her. The pain was suffocating, and the realization that she would never see her vibrant, full-of-life son again was a constant, crushing blow.

"Aria, now is not the time to be stubborn. I heard from your uncle that Mrs. Hannah wants to use this art exhibition to find a wife for the eldest grandson of the Turner family. It doesn't matter if she likes you or not, as long as his grandson likes you," Mrs. Ada's aged hands held her granddaughter's face. "Turner family is one of the four major families. He've seen many beauties; how could they possibly like me?" Aria said dejectedly, still looking listless.

Arya “What are the names of your family members?” I ask when we pull up in front of a mansion. He smiles when I ask this. “My eldest brother is Kai, he’s our leader, and it’s his birthday today, his wife is Caterina. Then there’s Konstantin and his wife Lilith, my youngest brother, Nikolai and his…girlfriend Nova.” “You only have brothers?” I ask with a frown, and he nods. “Wow, I would have loved a brother growing up.” As much as I loved being an older sister, I would have liked having an older brother who could protect me if needed.

ARIA'S POV I couldn't help but roll my eyes. “Another problem. Just what I needed,” I thought to myself. Before I could even think of a reply, Dante did something that surprised the hell out of me. Instead of calling me out or making things worse, he stepped up beside me, shoulders squared, and said, “Mother, Linda, I think you are forgetting something important here,” he paused to look at Linda, and then at Agatha, “Aria here… she has connections with the Griffith family, the highest rulers of all the wolf packs. It could be useful for us so please… let's put an end to the unnecessary drama.”
