Being pampered like this still felt strange and wonderful. I sat on the stool and uncovered the food. It was simple but perfect. I took my time eating, enjoying every bite. Rolex was meticulous in everything he did, even when it came to making sure I was fed properly. Halfway through my meal, something shifted. A sudden, sharp pull twisted in my lower stomach.
