Endless love

Endless love

He got up from his chair and walked over to a small silver tray near the bookcase, where he poured two glasses. Placing one of the cups in front of James, he gave a slight smile of understanding. "Allow me to share a little of my story with you, James. I got married very young, in an arranged marriage. At the time, I had no choice, but over the years, I met a woman.... Ah, she was beautiful and full of personality. I fell in love with her the very instant I saw her, but I was already married. However, that love lasted throughout my life."

Alpha Emmaline

Alpha Emmaline

Emma could tell that this was a story her aunt had carried with her for a long time. "It's a complicated tale, Emma," Aunt Doris began. "You see, back when I was your age, your grandfather was the beta of the pack by then. In those days, arranged marriages were the norm, and I was betrothed to a young man named Ethan. He was my mate, chosen by fate or so they said." Emma listened intently, her curiosity piqued by her aunt's revelations. She had always assumed that mating was a bond of love, but it seemed that there were exceptions.

Habibi: An Unexpected Love

Habibi: An Unexpected Love

I shook my head slowly, while pondering his words that flowed without discomfort in disclosing something private. "Well, I have heard stories of men impregnating their girlfriends, and sometimes the bride's parents threatening the man to get married. But to have an arranged marriage from the womb, no. Well, maybe in high society and behind closed doors. I mean, nobody should know about it. You know, gossip." I could sense the surprise in his reaction to what I had just shared. I cleared my throat and straightened up. "I'm sorry if I spoke out of turn, sir." He smiled.

THE ARRANGED BRIDE

THE ARRANGED BRIDE

"We need to talk', I did not know how these four words could change the universe, someone's world, until now. I nodded silently telling him to continue. He started.“It should be quite obvious by now that I don't want this marriage, I don't have any feelings for you whatsoever, and I don't think I ever will. My heart belongs to someone else.” “I only agreed to this marriage because of the pressure from both families. I had to find every possible way out of this marriage but it's all futile. This marriage is nothing to me more than a sacrifice to satisfy my parents because they want to unite both families. I never knew this day would come till I found out that the Brookes adopted a daughter.”

Withered Yet Freed

Withered Yet Freed

On the swing set, under Travis's puzzled gaze, Sarah began speaking. "I have something to tell you. I know that after hearing it, you might not want to marry me anymore, but I still want to tell you before we get married. Although we knew each other as children, we haven't seen each other for many years. This is essentially an arranged marriage by our parents, with too few traces of love between us. That's why I want to be clear about everything before we marry. After you understand, you can decide whether you still want to marry me."

HIS ARRANGED FIANCEE

HIS ARRANGED FIANCEE

' Even though the boys and the girls knew that this was what the meeting was all about, they were still dumbfounded by the news. Mr Brown continued with his speech. "Kayla Davis, meet Alex Brown, your future husband" Kayla nodded her head. "And as from today henceforth, Alex, you have to start taking care of Kayla. You both are going to get married immediately after college."He ended his speech, opened the file in front of him and stamped it with the stamp that Kayla spotted earlier. Kayla's heart skipped so many beats after this, she felt as if she was going to faint at any moment. 'They should have asked for our own opinion too' she thought. 'What if things didn't go as planned between us?

The Arranged Bride

The Arranged Bride

" It was your first day here after marriage. When you walked in the dining room, the fragrance hit my nostrils and it was so damn intoxicating." " We really did come a long way isn't it ? From being mere strangers to enemies , becoming friends and finally falling in love with each other." She sighed dreamily. " Yeah it feels just yesterday that I got married to a jerk like you that I have grown to love so much." She teased to which I chuckled. " Who thought I would ever get married let alone have an arranged bride and fall so fucking deeply in love with her?" We looked into each other's eyes before we attached our lips in a kiss. A sweet , gentle kiss.

Garenagg ROV
A good book overall, It would have been better though if the author made it more accurate like how they were doing most of the household chores. Also, even if Sophia didn't marry Nick, with her dad's position she could have afforded a car
Lissa Lee
I really like this book so far EXCEPT when the author repeats something that had previously happened because they wanted to give the others POV. it's fine to continue the story switching between POVs but don't write a chapter just to rehash the same material from the last chapter.

My Deceptive Heart

My Deceptive Heart

It was a marriage for convenience, alright. I never wanted this from the very start but I was left with no choice. It was actually a promised wedding that was supposed to be between the descendants of my grandfather and his best friend Buenvenido Hernandez. Since the two were both blessed with only children and both were sons, they decided to pass the agreement to their grandchildren. When Don Buenvenido Hernandez passed away, my grandfather voided the agreement and never tried to insist on the arranged marriage, since his dear friend was gone. But when Don Gerardo Hernandez’s company got into serious financial trouble, he used that old agreement to ask for help from my grandpa. Pleased, my

Hayle Coven Novels

Hayle Coven Novels

I had a story to tell her and she was going to listen. Quietly, with as much dignity as I could wrangle, I told her about the arranged marriage between Quaid and I. Yes, I left out some details, like how his parents were witches who murdered his real family and kidnapped him to use him as a power source. And the fact the only reason our families wanted us to get married was because we'd have really strong kids. But the rest of it? I dumped that on her. How Mom betrayed my trust, that I had no idea when he sat down in our living room that this perfect stranger was meant to be my husband.
