His pathetic display was laughable. As I recalled everything he did to me, I felt no guilt, only relief.
"No, it's not enough. A hypocrite like you belongs in jail where you can't hurt anyone else," I replied, letting out my resentment.
Caleb froze, his head down and hands falling limply. Just as I thought he was finally giving up, he slammed me against the wall, his face twisted with madness.
"No! No! You're mine—everything about you belongs to me! You can't leave me!" Caleb screamed, his hands crushing my throat.
