All of them flickered through me, and the power drank deep from each emotion they stirred.
I dropped to my knees with a gasp, eyes wide.
And still, Ash didn’t let go.
“Feel that?” he whispered, crouching beside me. “That’s the real you. Not some little wolf in heat. Not a mate-marked pawn. Not a curse.”
He leaned in, brushing his lips against my temple.
