I looked up to see a lean man with blonde hair and bright eyes raising his hands in surrender. Ricco, Nicco, and Maximo shielded me with their bodies. “Viola, it’s me, Carlo Mancuso!” He yelled loud enough to see him. I finally recognized him when he said his name. “Ricco, let him through. He’s my friend.” My three bodyguards obliged and Carlo walked to me. He was the nephew to Stefano Mancuso, the leader of one of the four mafia families in Italy. He and I were not friends. I’d only uttered those words to ensure Ricco would let him through. I’d gone to boarding school with him when I was in high school—before I transferred to an all-girls boarding school.

He started laughing quietly. "So that's how you fight, huh?" A somewhat familiar voice said in my ear. I looked up at the towering figure. It was Damien. "Damn, Vince really knows how to pick em," Damien said, glancing appreciatively at me and my outfit. I blushed as always. Damn, why was he so similar to Vince? He was also attractive, with long blond hair and piercing blue eyes.

I'm amused by how such small things like a store makes her happy causing her voice to elevate higher a little bit. “ it’s a longer drive if you don't want to, there’s a smaller store more in town you can go to but the quality isn’t as great” she finishes her voice dropped, calmer this time making it seem she was less excited about this store but understood why we'd choose it. “ the woodsmen shop sounds perfect” Ryan cheers pushing on my seat. “ I’m sorry I have to asked but are you gay?” Creed remarks “ because you are the only dude I know that squeals like a girl on purpose” he states

I hadn't cared then, and it hadn't changed now. There was a sparkle in Vincent's eyes. Before he could reply, someone called out to him. "Hey, Vinny!" It was the latest winner of the mud scuffle. He was abnormally tall and brutish looking. Like a Scottish Highlander with his wide-set shoulders, his long dark-red wild hair pulled back into a ponytail at the base of his neck. His bright green eyes were in contrast to the mud smearing his face. His chest was bare and the tats across his torso were on full display. He was definitely a tall drink of water. "Stop being a f*cken prude and get your ass over here!"

“Absinthe Raynes’ pet—” My eyes rolled in my head, centering on the vampire, and I finally noticed the short-cropped hair, the square face, so similar— I groaned, trying to move my hand to my other pocket as I tried to comprehend what I was seeing. “Please tell me you’re not another brother of Vince and Norman—” He chuckled, leaning on his knees and smiled, the blood of the young woman still coating his teeth as he shook his head. “Not a brother. she asked and looked away. Vince fell silent as he lowered his gaze while pondering over her words. Reiner and Shane looked at Vince and smiled. They know that although Vince says that he likes Raina, but with Vince’s actions when it comes to Rai, Vince obviously likes Rai. It is ironic though that Rai and Raina are ‘cousins’, and it is even more ironic since the ‘two people’ have the same faces.
