Tale 1: Punishment

“She is a babe – “ Rai heard a voice say.

“Yeah. I wonder if she will be wild in bed – “ the other voices said and they laughed.

“Let us sell her after we have fun with her – “ the other voices added.

Rai’s eyes went open as he woke up. Then, his eyes widened and he gasped when he suddenly saw some men surrounding him. He looked at them, stunned. What is happening here? He thought, feeling confused.

“Oh.” They muttered when they saw Rai woke up. “She woke up. Too bad – “ they said and grinned.

Rai’s eyes narrowed in suspicion as he rose from the ground. What ‘her’? he thought. Who are they calling ‘her’? But they are looking at me, so it should be me who they are referring to as ‘her’… he thought when suddenly, he noticed something. Huh? He thought as he looked at his pants. It is somewhat… loose? He thought. His face is filled with confusion.

“Hey, miss – “ the thugs can’t help but call as they look at the ‘woman’ in front of them.

Rai turned to them sharply. He now confirmed that it was him who they are calling ‘her’ earlier. “’miss’?” he said. “Who the hell are you calling ‘mi – ‘ “ he said, then suddenly stopped. His eyes went wide in shock when he heard something strange. He touched his neck, precisely his throat. My… voice is – he thought and gasped when he saw his brown hair fell down his shoulder. This hair… looks familiar – he thought as his eyes went wide when he finally realized it. “What – “ he said and looked at his chest. He felt like he was hit by a meteor when he saw that his chest is bulging. “Wha – “ he muttered as his face turned dark.

“Hey, babe.” One of the thugs called. “Come have fun with us – “ he said and was about to reach Rai when he slapped his arm.

“Don’t you dare touch me!” he told them as he glared at them.

“What – “ they said, then looked at each other.

Rai’s eyes went wide when he saw them grinned. That grin… He thought, feeling horrified as they looked at him while grinning evilly.

“A pussy… I wonder if she will be as wild in bed – “ they said and walked towards him.

Rai’s eyes went wide and his face turned pale. No way… He thought as he took a step back. This can’t be happening to me… he thought and closed his eyes tight as he ran away with the thugs running after him. this can’t be… I am being chased by thugs! He thought as a tear fell from his eye. And he knows that it is a horrifying thing that is why the thugs are chasing him.

He turned on a street, running to escape from the thugs.

“Wha – “ somebody muttered when Rai bumped into him before he ran past him. “Hey!” he called to the fleeing Rai. “Whoa!” he exclaimed when the thugs that were following Rai ran past him. “Hey!” he called, but Rai and the thugs ignored him.

No way…! Rai thought, shaking in fear, when he tripped. “Ah !” he cried and fell on the ground, scraping his knee. “Damn it!” he cursed and took off his shoes that were also loose after his body changed into a woman. “Ngh!” he cried and threw his shoes to the thugs.

“Argh!” they groaned when they were hit by his shoes.

Rai immediately stood up and ran, limping. “Help!” he called when he saw a guy walking towards them. “Help – ugh!” he cried when he tripped because of his loose pants. “Damn it…” he cursed and cried as he lay down on the ground with the thugs still running after him. He closed his eyes as he gave up running. “Why the hell is this happening to me…?” he muttered as he remembered his conversation with the goddess before he went unconscious.

The time when he made fun of her, as well as the curse.

Flashback

“Wha – “ Rai muttered when the light died down. “What the hell is that? A flash bomb?!” he asked, pissed, as his eyes adjusted to the surroundings. “Goddess, my foot!” he spat on the ground.

“Then, shall I make your foot swell?” she asked.

“Huh?” Rai muttered and looked at her. Then, his eyes went wide in shock when he saw her eyes glowing. A bead of sweat trickled down his face and he nervously gulped. She is really a goddess…? He thought. His face is filled with disbelief.

“Now, then – “ she said and flipped her hair. “ – let’s talk about your curse.” she said.

Rai’s eyes went wide. “’curse’?!” he exclaimed, shocked. “What the hell are you?!” he asked.

“Oh. You didn’t notice?” she asked back and looked at Rai’s body.

“Huh - ?” Rai muttered and looked at his body, too. Then, he felt his world explode. “What the hell is this?!” he asked, shocked, when he saw that his body became smaller and his chest was bulging. “Why, you – “ he said and froze when he saw his brown hair fall down his shoulder when he moved. His face went dark.

“That’s right.” she said and smiled. “I turned you into a girl!” she told him.

“Don’t state the obvious – “ he muttered as his face turned black in anger..

“This is to punish you for playing with the girls’ hearts – “ she continued. “Hm?” she said when she saw that he didn’t react. “Oh. So you really admit to your wrongdoing – “ she said and smiled.

“Yeah.” I told her. His face is as dark as the night. “Since I really did it, and I don’t regret it.” He said and looked at her. His face is serious. “I chose to do it – “ he said.

“You’re cool and all, but too bad you are in your girl form – “ she said and covered her mouth. Her shoulders are shaking.

A vein popped in Rai’s forehead. “Then he'll turn me back to my original form - !” he told her, feeling very angry.

“Huh? I told you it’s a curse, right?” she said. “Every act has its own consequences.” She said and grinned.

Rai gnashed his teeth in anger.

“Now, then, let’s get down to business – “ she said and waved her hand. “To break the curse – “ she said.

“Oh? Surprisingly you have a counter to this curse. How nice of you.” He told her, sounding sarcastic.

She grinned. “Since things had to have a contrast…” she just said, then her face went serious. “You still want to hear the conditions?” she asked.

Rai didn’t answer.

She just shrugged. “This spell will be lifted only if you made a guy fall for you.” She told him.

“Why?” He asked. His entire body is shaking in anger. “Why?!” he asked, filled with anger, and glared at her. “Why does it have to be a guy?! Why can’t I make a girl fall for me?!” he asked her.

“Because you are in your girl form.” she answered, her face was blank.

“Ah. Mm.” Rai muttered as he looked at her blankly. “Why don’t you turn me back to my male form, then?” he suggested.

“Then what’s the point of me punishing you, then?” she said.

Rai clenched his fists since he failed his attempt.

She cleared her throat. “Anyways, there is one more condition…” she continued and looked at Rai. Her face is serious.

“What?” He asked, feeling pissed.

She looked him in the eye. At that moment, Rai felt that everything stopped – including his heart. She then mouthed a few words.

Rai’s eyes went wide in shock. “Pfft - !” he said and covered his mouth. “Ahahahahahaha!” he laughed, holding his stomach. “That will never happen, unfortunately!” he told her and laughed.

A vein popped in her forehead. “Yeah. Really unfortunate, for you.” She said and frowned as she walked away. “You are the one who has a curse here.” She added, frowning.

“Hey!” Rai called. A vein popping in his forehead. “What’s so godly about her?” he muttered, pissed, when she vanished. He blew out air as he looked around. “Even if it is for breaking the curse, it will never happen…” he muttered as he leaned on the wall. “Seems like I can never break this curse… since I will never fall in love – “ he muttered and closed his eyes. “Wah - !” he exclaimed when his foot slipped and he bumped his head on the wall, making him unconscious and slightly forgetting what had happened to him.
