Authors Like Lisa Kleypas Novels & Stories

Alex's face turned sad before he said with the same smile which had pulled her in "oh Well, this time I will make sure you that you never forget me." Liza was talking to Ms. Cassandra Clare, one of her all tie favorite authors. She loved the novels by Cassandra Clare. Usually, Liza preferred to stay grounded in reality but there was something in her books that made her forget about everything. She was discussing the contrasting characters of James Carstairs and William Herondale (both of them were characters of a very popular series called 'The infernal Devices') and how despite being so different they still seemed to be similar to each other when someone spoke from behind her. "Excuse me Ms

“Did he ever tell you that?” Declan shook his head but remained quiet. “I write horror. Have you ever heard of A.A. Abernathy?” Declan’s eyes widened and he nodded. “I’ve read them all. Mason got me onto them.” Lisa blushed. “That’s me. I write under a pen name.” He grinned at her. “That’s fucking amazing,” he said. “I never would’ve guessed that a sweet thing like you could write such twisted shit.” She shrugged. “I have a lot of issues. I find killing people with prose goes a long way to sorting out my shit.”

Lysia handed the gown she liked to the sales associate, her tone polite. Only then did she turn to Kyle and reply, “A party gathering top-tier entrepreneurs and world-renowned fashion designers—why on earth would I refuse?” After all, Lysia had never denied being a workaholic. She seized every opportunity unfolding before her, turning them into articles to make a name for herself, publishing them across various magazines under RRC Newsroom. Wasn’t that the perfect way to balance work and life?

He backed two steps away from her. “I wish it were, but no, it’s by an author I’ve long admired, Joyce Elbert. In the late sixties she was the hottest writer in the country. Her novel The Crazy Ladies sold over two million copies,” She refilled her drink, then walked the same two step distance closer to him. “And I’m sure Legal Briefs will sell twice as many, and Guilty Pleasures as well, once you’ve finished it,”

Author’s note That sad story about Leila and Hermes is actually one of my work in progress. If you won’t mind reading it when I publish it, can you signify? 😉
