That twenty-million-gold necklace is draped around her neck, the Moon-Tear stones shimmering under the lights. She’s beaming. The Head Elder stands up, his voice amplified by stones to reach every corner of the temple.

Knowing Kitty, it’s probably real gold.

And just like my security had done, uniformed men and women rushed to the car in the middle and opened the door, their weapons ready for action. Fucking high stilettos made an appearance first, followed by a slender petite body encased in the most luxurious dark suit designed to expose the proportional body of its owner. Long flaming red hair with flecks of silver flew gracefully in its perfect waves. Then she turned to my direction, just as I was completing my own task of stepping out of the car. Katya Petrov was going to be my undoing if I didn't take precautions early. She was covered in designers' of Cartier and the latest collection of Alexander Wang, her shades the same brand as mine.

I stayed by the door and forced a chuckle. “No. No, no, no.” Katara shook her head. She was wearing a mini skirt and a crop top that showed her flat stomach. I could not help but wonder if she was cold. “Time is not promised, or whatever they say. My point is that you’re going to the party. I want to see whatever it is that he’ll do to me. The door opens, and I sit upright. Leo walks in, but he isn’t alone. He’s with Katya. She’s wearing a tight black dress paired with Louboutins, and a shoulder bag. Her hair is pushed back and held by a claw. “Well, well,” she says, smiling brightly at me. “Look at you.” Leo closes the door. I remain seated because I don’t see a single reason to stand. She stands by the door with a hand on her hip, watching me triumphantly.

It depicted her sensuality in the most enthralling way, accentuating all the curves she never knew she had, and also announcing her status, showing power and strength.
