The Alpha King's Chosen

The Alpha King's Chosen

I handed him the letter. He took it slowly, his eyes scanning every line. When he hit the part about the lullaby, he stopped. I could see it, the moment the words hit home, something dark flickered in his stare. “She taught Aria this?” “A few years back. She called it a lullaby.” I found myself repeating the words, the way Aria had sung it. “Moon above, wolf below.. Guard the secret, guard the sorrow.. Blood remembers, time will tell.

Her Revenge; Mated To The Faceless Alpha

Her Revenge; Mated To The Faceless Alpha

"Of course, my dear, of course. But it's never too early to start dreaming, is it?" As if to prove her point, she picked up another box, her fingers trembling with anticipation. "This one is from the Luna of the Moonwood Glade," she announced, her voice hushed with reverence. "She sent a set of enchanted lullabies, woven into the fabric of these blankets." "Enchanted?" I questioned, intrigued. "Yes, my dear," Granny Yeneva explained, her eyes gleaming with a mystical light. "Each lullaby is said to soothe the most restless of infants, promoting peaceful sleep and sweet dreams."

My Love Story

My Love Story

Mmmmuah"! A clap of satisfaction was given to him by the audience as he walked back to his seat. Mr Lucas collected the microphone and rounded up the speech with a joke, saying.... "Now that the grandfathers of triplets Amelia, Donald and Anderson have given their own vote of thanks, now it's my own turn to do so being their day's Master of Ceremonies". Everyone laughed as they clapped...to cheer him up. He began... "The title of my story is..."The Cat and the Single Hen"! He continued...

I Refuse to Divorce!

I Refuse to Divorce!

After a long time, he said in a husky voice, “You can count on it! I’ll see that she pays for this.” Gwynn didn’t press further. Then, Lorian woke up for a short while. He couldn’t find his voice, so he merely held her hand. Letting him nestle in her embrace, she soothed him and told him there was nothing to be afraid of. She sang him a lullaby. “Hush, little baby don't say a word, “Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird, “And if that mockingbird don't sing, “Papa's gonna buy you a diamond ring.”

Miriam
It is a great story. Really long but worth your money. Building on one character at a go. The end was abit slow but once you grasp the writing style it gets prolific and you cannot stop until you reach the end. By then there is no more to say.
Noah

Knotted By The Bully Hockey Star

Knotted By The Bully Hockey Star

I don’t stop until she’s completely calm. Soon she’s asleep again, peaceful, one tiny hand wrapped around my finger. The room settles into silence, broken only by the sound of our breathing. “What was that?” Jax asks softly. “A song my dad used to sing,” I whisper. “I don’t even know the words. Just the tune.” The color drains from his face so fast it scares me. “That’s an old pack lullaby,” he says, voice barely audible. “From the ancient bloodlines. How do you know it?”

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

He nods, but the sobs are shaking his shoulders and she just strokes his hair shushing him, and humming what sounded like a lullaby he’d never heard before. “What’s that you’re humming?” She stills for a moment, then he hears a soft snuffling noise and he turns his head to look up at her. “A song my mother taught me, a lullaby or something. I’ve forgotten most of the words, but the chorus is the bit I do remember. I still sing it sometimes when I can’t sleep.” She gives him a soft smile, looks down at him, then sings a melancholy tune; “Hush, little one, the phoenix sings, a lullaby of fiery wings, in darkness light begins to shine, at morning's warmth, our hearts entwine.” It’s a beautiful

But Willow, with her wide eyes and innocent curiosity, piped up, "Mommy, can we have a story before we sleep, please? A princess story!" She couldn't resist her daughter's request. Stories had always been a source of comfort for Willow, and Tessa couldn't deny her the solace they provided. "Of course, sweetie," Tessa replied, her voice taking on the cadence of a bedtime tale. "Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a strong and brave princess named Lily."

The Mafia's Princess

The Mafia's Princess

She starts to sing to me. When I hear a baby cry, I think of a lullaby— a lullaby that seems to cling to me— a lullaby my momma would sing to me. But Mama, I'm not tired. I yawn sleepily. Mama grins and continues to sing You will close your eyes, you will rest on my heart, waiting for the sweet night. While you will sleep, while you will dream, I will watch over you. I close my eyes and listen to my Mama's beautiful voice

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

The pendant around Elara's neck glowed even brighter, casting a pale blue light that only slightly pierced the overwhelming darkness. Suddenly, a soft melody reached their ears. The sound was haunting, echoing through the winding corridors and drawing them forward. The tune was eerily familiar to Elara, and a memory tugged at the edges of her mind. "That's... that's Lysandra's lullaby," she whispered, her eyes wide with realization. "She used to sing it to me when we were children."

Lust For Love

He answered kissing the top of my head. “I felt at peace.” I moaned. “What was that you were humming?” I asked him rubbing my hands on his chest. “A lullaby that my mother use to sing to me.” he said “And I hope one day we can sing it to our children.” he added. “I would love that, whats it called?” I asked him looking up at him. “Kolybel’naya. Lullaby.” He answered. He started rubbing my back and humming the soft melody again. I closed my eyes and sleep took over once again.
