Seems like an okay story…. But I absolutely hate it when the synopsis tells you the story will be about one thing and the story itself is about something completely different. I was really hoping for the story reflected in the overview, and 300 chapters in… it isn’t.

I really like this book, but I'm feeling sorry for Zachary. I wished they would soften Joey's personality up. She comes off cold. The author needs to bring them together soon and form an alliance and wrap this book up.

I Bought the Car, They Took the Credit

I Bought the Car, They Took the Credit

Just after stepping out of the shower, I received a private message from my so-called uncle, Hank Shephard—a distant relative I barely ever spoke to. "Francis, that new car you posted looks impressive. Perfect for William's wedding!" I hadn't even figured out how to reply to that out-of-nowhere comment when another message popped up. "Your cousin William is getting married next month. Just treat your car as his wedding gift." The entitlement in his tone made my head hurt. I didn't bother arguing and closed the chat window. Apparently, he did not think there was anything wrong with what he had said. Messages kept coming. "Don't worry, your uncle won't let you suffer a loss. "When it's your turn to get married, I'll have William drive that car as your lead wedding car. It'll make you look good." I stared at the screen in silence. That was the moment I realized—Some people don't just feel entitled to your belongings. They believe your life exists to serve theirs.

Married to my father’s boss

Married to my father’s boss

Meemee
“I now pronounce you husband and wife” was what the pope said, well just few of our families were present and the groom was no where to be found . My father told me he had urgent business to handle few hours before my big day…. Pure sarcasm by the way. Slowly slipping out of my wedding dress, flashbacks of how I was forced to marry a pompous mafia leader for my father’s greed stings my heart. Getting married without having to see the face of your so-called husband was the last thing on my wishlist . A man so arrogant to attend his own wedding was the last man I could ever love
