The Ice Princess

The Ice Princess

If I ever find love, I hope it's a deep as those two have for one another. Uncle Leo excuses himself as aunt Brianna and their teenage twins set, Noah and Sophia, request him. I give the twins a fist bump before walking away to find Jessie. The ballroom's architecture is covered fifty percent with glass, on the side giving access to the garden. The other fifty percent contains golden victorian crown molding, tied with the same yellow details of the three equally spaced chandeliers. Pearl white walls and greenery arrangements tone down the extravagant elements displayed throughout the room.

Two Billionaires and A Bride

Two Billionaires and A Bride

“And maybe grab some champagne.” He steered her in that direction, leaving Zane with the other terrible trio. Caroline was already scoping the terrain for a likely place to set up her gear. The ballroom was long and tall with a painted barrel ceiling and a balcony on either end. The orchestra would claim the more distant perch. The nearer was arranged with fancy white-clothed tables. “Up there?” Zane asked, nodding his head toward it. “If you blew out your table’s candle, you’d be very hard to see.”

Where She Falls, We Catch Her

Where She Falls, We Catch Her

Like it was watching her, almost digitally cataloging every movement. Inside, the ballroom was all perfume, candlelight, and casually obscene wealth. Champagne fizzed. Crystal clinked. Live strings played from behind velvet curtains, amplified slightly by hidden microphones so everyone could hear perfectly. People moved like they were part of a ballet — graceful, deliberate, rehearsed. A few discreet photographers captured moments for family social media feeds, but every click of a shutter seemed invisible to the eye.

My Stepfather Is My Mate

My Stepfather Is My Mate

SYDNEY The ballroom, a grandiose testament to luxury, unfolded before us like a jewel-studded tapestry. Elaborate crystal chandeliers hung like constellations, casting prismatic reflections across the room. Silk draperies, the color of moonlight, billowed gently, a testament to the gentle breath of the evening. Sebastian's arm, strong and reassuring, cradled mine as we entered the realm of opulence. The soft rustle of silks and the faint murmur of laughter created a symphony of celebration. Every footfall seemed to echo through the chamber, harmonizing with the lilting strains of the quartet's serenade. His eyes, deep pools of midnight, sparkled with the mirth of a shared secret. With a subt

Wow so many updates should I be happy or surprised? I think both. I love the way this story going on... The hunters, Elves, and wolves. It's so much of my type with way too much of fantasy characters. And I love that author is thinking about side characters as well. The 18+ part is just so ............

This book started off good but took off in another direction, like it was a completely different book. Some of the chapters don’t even match up with what’s going on or with the characters in the book. I’ve read this far just to see how it ends but the story keeps changing.I’m done wasting $

The Bet That Ruined Us

The Bet That Ruined Us

FIVE-STAR HOTEL GRAND BALLROOM] The grand ballroom of the Rosewood Hotel had been transformed into something out of a fairy tale. Crystal chandeliers hung from the vaulted ceiling, casting prismatic light across the room. White and gold fabric draped elegantly along the walls, interspersed with cascading arrangements of white gardenias and pink peonies, Shayla's favorites. Round tables dressed in ivory linens surrounded a spacious dance floor, each centerpiece a work of art featuring candles and more flowers.

I Married His Enemy: Return Of The Forgotten Princess

I Married His Enemy: Return Of The Forgotten Princess

Inside the grand ballroom of the Rosewood resort, every inch screamed luxury... white roses cascading from crystal vases, gold-rimmed tables neatly arranged, and a massive chandelier illuminating the hall like a constellation. The scent of lilies and expensive perfume filled the space, wrapping the evening in elegance. Classical music is the venue, mingling with laughter, camera flashes, and the clinking of champagne glasses. Across the hall, Lucas and Gloria stood side by side, the picture of grace and power.

Mated In Chaos

Mated In Chaos

My cheeks are red. " Are you ready?" I ask him to ignore the shyness I'm feeling. He opens his arm to me, and I link mine to his. The guards open the doors, and we walk through to the balcony where we look over the crowd. I am astounded by the beautiful decoration in the ballroom. The decorators did a fine job indeed. It is all so classy. Everything and everyone is so elegant. Everyone claps softly as we descend the stairs. I slowly look up at Zuriel, but his eyes look straight ahead. His expression is unreadable.

Two Can Play

Two Can Play

Then they parted, Dominic and Celeste heading out, Sparrow returning to us. The ballroom was a sea of gold and white. Chandeliers, a band on a raised stage, tables piled with food, towers of champagne, a dance floor gleaming under colored lights. The guests filled the room, laughing and drinking, the noise rising until the walls seemed to vibrate. Sparrow's grandmother claimed a seat near the front and pulled Tasha and Sparrow down beside her, keeping the bride and groom close, and I took a seat further back with Jasmine and Maya, where I could watch everything without being watched.

I don't see anything Tasha did was wrong. She doesn't know that Sparrow concocted 2 contracts. She oblivious to the contract he has with Scarlett They didn't discuss everything w/Tasha. Tasha is realizing that she like Sparrow n the life she could have So, she thinks Scarlett is betraying her.

FYI 1)chapters only 4-5pages 2) 20-30-40++ chapters on same event but each character POV (not only male/female lead) so gets dragged on & muddled when same event rehash..it is my 1st book of this author so I would like to respect that this is due to writing style..I like more of condensed stories..

Mate In The Shadows

Mate In The Shadows

Orion looked deeply satisfied with himself. The ballroom glowed like winter itself had learned elegance. Hundreds of candles flickered against silver walls while enormous crystal chandeliers scattered warm gold light across polished marble floors below. Winter flowers woven through white branches decorated every table while musicians played near the far balcony beneath drifting snowfall visible beyond towering glass windows. Movement existed everywhere. Dancing. Conversations. Politics hidden beneath beauty. The palace breathed with life..And when Orion and Selene entered together; people noticed. Not because they demanded attention. Because they belonged beside one another so naturally now

The Beta & the jewel thief - book 6

The Beta & the jewel thief - book 6

The dim light from the moon shone through the curved windows adding to the ambiance of elegance. I moved along with the other guests, entering the ballroom which was even more decked out than the foyer. Long white silk fabric hung from the ceiling, the ends barely sweeping the floor. Flowers in white and blue decorated the round tables, each with a tealight candle, that surrounded the center floor for dancing. I didn’t bother to find my assigned seat. I wouldn’t need it. I had a job to do. Moving through the ballroom, fully aware of the male wol whose gazes landed on me. Probably wondering who I was. I put my shoulders back and lifted my chin, walking with purpose and false confidence.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.
