Roses grew out of the walls, matching the crimson carpet. The ballroom had a stage, upon which an orchestra of immortals performed oddly jolly music with strings and horns. The floor teemed with demons, many of them dancing together, and all of them impeccably dressed. Dancing couples were more spaced out than I was accustomed to, presumably so that lilitu wouldn’t accidentally whack each other with their wings.

Siena’s POV The ballroom glitters with crystal chandeliers, their light refracting in a thousand directions, casting a golden glow over the polished marble floor. The music swells, a slow, lilting melody that fills the space, elegant and haunting. Wolves from every pack mingle at the edges of the dance floor, their laughter and conversation blending into a low hum that underscores the scene. Here we are, moving in perfect, practiced steps, a royal couple to all appearances.

The guests from across the territories—turned as one, their eyes alight with curiosity. The large screen at the front flickered to life. Third POV The grand ballroom shimmered under the soft glow of crystal chandeliers, their light catching every facet like scattered diamonds against a velvet backdrop. She could only nod, biting the inside of her lower lip. When they stepped forward, the music became louder in her ears. The lights of the massive chandeliers were a feast to the eyes. Just as she imagined, the ballroom screamed of nothing but magnificence and elegance. It was a dream place. Ladies in beautiful gowns and sparkling jewels were moving so gracefully while the men moved so gallantly in tandem with their partners. Everything and everyone truly were a breathtaking sight to behold.

MARIE After the little drama, the gentleman took my hand and led me into the ballroom. The moment the grand doors opened, I was engulfed in light and splendor. The ballroom was the epitome of wealth and elegance, with a domed ceiling painted like a renaissance masterpiece. Massive crystal chandeliers hung like frozen waterfalls, scattering golden light that glimmered against the polished marble floors. Along the walls, long velvet drapes the color of deep wine framed towering windows that reached the ceiling. Between each drape were mirrors trimmed in gold, reflecting the endless glint of opulence.

Kingsley opened his eyes and met Charlotte's gaze. The next moment, he looked away. "Prepare to enter. Rehearsal is ready to begin," Carolina's words prompted everyone on set to take their places. Kingsley stood up, while Charlotte walked onto the stage. The scene depicted the first encounter between Juliet and Romeo. The stage was elegantly designed, resembling a grand banquet. Brilliantly lit candles and soft, romantic music created the perfect ambiance. The crowd, dressed in elaborate ballroom attire, danced energetically in the center of the dance floor.

The lively applause of the crowd gradually softened as the grand ballroom's live orchestra began to play a slow, sweeping romantic melody. The transition from the chaotic flashing of cameras to this single, intimate moment was seamless. In this kind of events, I always secured myself in the mezzanine, where I could leisurely watch people have fun…or try to.
