Sydney's POV: Fallen. Iam falling. Falling down. From where? The portrait? I fell hard on the rough ground. My chin hits the ground bringing me pain. The pain isn't equal to the fact that I lost Lydia. I opened my eyes to see the hell for the first time.

Felicity continued to update her social media as Sean sent her home. "It's so nice to be able to enjoy a couple's haven. It feels great without a third wheel." Her next update read, "The unloved one is the real mistress." For her last update, she attached a picture with her message. I could tell from a glance that they were in our new home just based on the items in the photo. "I held my head high and proud when I entered. Come and catch me if you dare. I bet you don't even have the guts to hit me."

Not a fatal fall. "Oh, so killing me is too easy? You just want to cripple me instead, asshole?" she growled. Travis shook her, pulling her in close with a rough jerk. Holding her at the ledge, he whispered just four words in her ear, "Don't close your eyes." The push was light—but to Max, it felt like slow motion as she fell backward. The rush of air, the panic, the terror—all compressed into a single second—until her back slammed into something hard and soft at the same time.

Fell down ? I wouldn't call it falling down but my chin hit the landing pretty hard , so hard that I could taste the blood in my mouth. This wasn't in the plan , I thought , levelling my palm against the now sandy and rough ground , I raised my body slightly , since half of my body was already raised , it wasn't painful , with my upraised body I looked around and a chill that had nothing to do with the weather spread all over my limbs , to my chest and finally deeply embedding itself in my heart .
