The First Wife’s Revenge

The First Wife’s Revenge

The clone moved like a shadow, fluid, silent, precise. Olivia reached the corridor outside the R&D vault. The clone stood at the door, trying to override the lock. It turned when it sensed her. Olivia froze. This one was different. Same build. Same face. But older. Calmer. Eyes soft. Expression almost human. “Version 6.0,” Olivia whispered. The clone blinked. “You shouldn’t be here,” it said. “You’re the unfinished prototype.” “Yes.” “What do you want?” The clone stepped forward slowly. “To end the cycle. To end the war. To end the versions.”

"Is it magic or—" This brought a laugh from Arthur Flamecrest. "Not magic, my boy. It's science. We create clones from tubes. Stellarite does the role of a heart." The clone of the man disclosed its horrendous aura as it blinked towards the static mortal entity which the latter responded by sending his armored clone to intercept the assaulter. The two clones exchanged blows with equal ferocity. The match was deadlocked as neither of them wanted to give a quarter to their foe. The other entities, goddess and the void, would sneak attack but were all proven futile attempts as the clone would only dodge it with ease because its speed unmistakably was nothing to scoff at for even it matched those of its adversaries, the three realm entities.

The starting was serious. The child mature too fast, which is sad, but hopefully 'bullies' let them be and not add to their condition. looks promising, especially the curiosity of how the kids are going to pull through. nice ?
