BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

‘If I’m going to wear the big occasion dress, I’d like to wait until it’s only the dress that’s big… The Saturday after the baptism of Stephanie Joy Dan, her mother and father made eternal vows to love, honour and keep one another in sickness and in health for all their days. Matty, her wheelchair decorated with white and silver ribbons, held her little god-daughter throughout the service. Toby performed valiantly as ring-bearer. Connie wept buckets and told everyone who would listen that Miracesca was the kindest, most wonderful woman on earth and Dan kissed her and told her that she was absolutely right. The marquee was a picture in yellow and white, and after lunch and a

she laughed as she looked at Camille and the large woman beamed her acquiescence. “Come, let us go,” she added with a sigh, “your father has been calling me and demanding to know why we are not yet there.” The children trooped out hastily and met Beatrice in the hall. The old woman was in a white dress and a hat, looking like she was off to church. “Bea is coming with us,” smiled Proserpina fondly as she led the old woman ahead, ”She wants to attend the engagement of Ria and Claude, of course.”

CHASING HIS RUNAWAY MATE

CHASING HIS RUNAWAY MATE

She swallowed hard, her hands clenched into fists. Her emotions warred in her eyes—anger, frustration, disbelief… And something else. Something deeper. Something she wasn’t ready to admit. Not yet. But soon. And I would wait. For now. Will Beatrice embrace the luxury i gave her, or will she push back once more?

her Dad teased, making me chuckle. “Can a Beta’s mate take over the world?” Bailey asked, and I heard a shocked gasp. “Oh goddess, you and the Lord of grouchiness are mates?” he exclaimed, but I could hear the smile in his words. “Dad.” Bailey warned. He laughed. “I am happy for you both. I truly am Bailey. I just hope that boy knows how much it will cost him to keep you in books and chocolate. He may need a second job.” I found myself laughing now. “I think I am up for that challenge.” I told him with a smile at my mate. Hell, I think I would do anything for this girl, so buying her books and chocolate was nothing…

Is this book close to being finished? I seen the author comment that it shouldn't be much more than a little over 200 but as of right now it's at 288 and not completed. Before I start is there still a significant amount left before the story is finished?

Sooo I started reading this in a different reading app and just noticed it's in this one as well. However there's a different amount of chapters between the two, there's more here than the other app? Did the story get switched/continued in this app instead? Or are the chapters the same somehow?

says I. “So, how’s your life outside our mansion?” dad asked after I had a spoonful of rice. I smiled at dad's question because I thought of the dean. ‘Shit! It’s scaring me, I’m already smiling as I spoon the rice. ’ “It's okay, dad. It's more convenient, and I've adjusted. It was difficult for me at first since there was no cook to cook the food. No one is taking care of me.” How about you, Maurice? Are you watching over this sister of yours? Isn’t she doing a scandalous thing again? I heard that Juvilan and Stacy have returned to Elysian.”

Either way, had she not, I fear Tremaine would have had the canvas burned, or worse—mocked before others until its dignity crumbled into ash. When I reach the attic door, the hinges groan, but everything inside remains unchanged, as though no one has dared to disturb it for years. That is the way of attics. They hold memories in the same posture forever, untouched, while the world below shifts and forgets. My stepsisters have no love for this place. I doubt they could find their way here, even if ordered. Anastasia has little patience for dust, and Drizella even less for words on pages. Sometimes I wonder if they can even read.

Mathilda

Mathilda

“I am not part of the upper knights and I am not a successor. So, it is appropriate for me to leave this conclave. I am sorry, Father.” “What is more important than my demand, Gabriel?” ‘Nothing, Father.” “Are you sure? Or is it that girl…” He paused to thought about the name, “Her name is Mathilda, am I correct?” “That orphan sister who doesn’t know how to act like a sister, don’t tell me you are friends with that ill-mannered child?” The father was taunting Gabriel. Gabriel retired, and did not say anything after. He just went back his sit and pretended to listen. He was furious that the Father was using Mathilda to scare him and that he was even using her to make him look bad.

I don't know how you did it but you managed make a convent life interesting and exciting to read about so... Congratulations!👏 What I absolutely love about your book is your writing style. So professional and down to a T. The characters seem natural and your use of imagery is thrilling.

I love how well written the story is, it makes me feel at ease while reading it, also how it conveys the whole idea and personality of each character especially Mathilda. Every bit of it is very promising, hoping for more chapters and books to come!

The Three Little Guardian Angels

The Three Little Guardian Angels

Maisie caressed the baby’s face gently and smiled. “Don’t wake up Bea. It’s very difficult to calm her down as soon as she starts to cry.” “Bea?” Maisie raised her head and looked at Barbara. “Have you chosen a name for her?” Barbara nodded. “Helios is the one who chose it. Her name is Beatrice Boucher.” “Beatrice…” Maisie looked at the baby in the crib and chuckled. “She might even become my daughter-in-law when she grows up.” Barbara almost burst into laughter. “Stop it. Don’t you ever think about turning my Bea into one of the Goldmanns. She’s still so young, and you’re already thinking about making her your future daughter-in-law.”

The best book I've read ...️. Such a brilliant masterpiece! Even the supporting characters' lovelife were included in the plot. Even there's more than 2 thousand chapters the author never cease to amaze me, the plot is not boring at all ...️

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

Her parents had gone to bed, her father to read his latest detective novel, and her mum to scour the online shopping stores for bargains that would usually arrive by courier the next day, only to be returned to store a few days later as they “never look like they do in the photo.” Maud whistling a non-tune interrupted Beatrice’s thoughts as the old woman entered the lounge. Beatrice stood and gave her a big hug. “Easy there, young’un,” Maud giggled. “These old bones pop an’ snap enough on their own.” Beatrice chuckled, “You’re not old. Just well-worn.” “An’ ye’re a smooth talker, Lady Jane,” Maud smiled sitting down in her big armchair. “Ye’ll go far in this life.”
