The Billionaire Romance

The Billionaire Romance

He was about to pull away when things were getting pretty intense but she pleaded. “Don’t stop Ronald, I want you....” Raina pulled away from the kiss and let go of her robe. Ronald’s jaw was literally on the carpet. He couldn’t believe what he was looking at. Raina was in red sexy lingerie which enhanced her well-defined bump. Ronald could feel himself getting hard, he was sure a cold shower couldn’t cure his erection this time around. He wanted her so bad. “This is the best birthday gift, my love, I promise to be as gentle as I can.” He lifted her in a bridal style, ready to make love to the Queen of his Heart. The End.........

A Rose’s Thorn

A Rose’s Thorn

he rushed to say. That just set my blood boiling at a whole new level. “Why do I need to marry?!” I all but yelled. “I am perfectly capable of running an estate without a man! If I wanted to share my bed with 50 men, whose life does it affect anyway…. No one but mine!” I hadn’t realized I had stalked Sean and was pointing my delicate finger right at his chest as I spoke the last part. We had backed up so he was up against the wall and smiling at me. “What?!” Was all I could get out before he cupped the side of my face, sliding his hand into my hair at the back of my head, tilting my mouth just enough to fit his perfectly. He wasn’t forceful with his kiss, he held his lips lightly against mi

Juliet's Marriage Request

Juliet's Marriage Request

It was according to the book, if I haven't forgotten. "What time is it?" I asked. "You're asking strange things again, My lady," she answered. I slapped my forehead for being stupid. That's right. There is no clock in this novel. Time wasn't introduced and wasn't created. I don't know why, maybe the author forgot? Most of historical novels have time, actually. But here, nothing. I don't even know what sign they have on whether it's morning, noon, afternoon, or night. At least morning until evening are part of their vocabulary.

A Second Chance at Romance

A Second Chance at Romance

He was being ostentatious and unreserved. As the male protagonist of the novel, Cedric Garner's first 20 or so years of his life had been smooth sailing. Being superior and almost good at anything fostered his arrogant and unrestrained personality. Hannah still remembered the first time she saw him. It seemed like the whole world was focused on him, and he was arrogantly domineering, like a king in control of everything. Although it seemed quite amusing, it was quite in line with the image of the male leads in romance novels. However, it was not the case currently. Cedric was gloomy.

What Page Are You On, Mr. Male Lead

What Page Are You On, Mr. Male Lead

I bowed to him and greeted him good morning while smiling courteously. I remembered that in the original novel "The Male Lead's Lover", Jean and Greyson competed in everything about Rosine. There were times that they almost killed each other, and that was really a gore-ish scene. That's why the book was for ages 15 and above even if the title looks innocent. As a merchant family, Greyson had many connections in different countries. He used that to obtain Rosine, but in the end, he was banished from his country and from our country too. He never had a good start to begin with after meeting Rosine.

The Billionaire's Hot Chef

The Billionaire's Hot Chef

I hadn't spent so long in this country, but from what I could see, the women submitted so easily, and I immediately knew in my head that no way in hell could that fucking be me. Straight away, the door to the private living room and chamber assigned to me swung open and a lady I presumed to be in her fifties walked in briskly, her Victorian fashioned dress swung from side to side with each step she took. Those dresses were what reigned in the eighteenth century and it was ridiculous that well over a couple hundred years later, it was still worn in this part of the world as casual wear. To an extent, it was hot, though.

The Baron's Cold Proposal

The Baron's Cold Proposal

In his experience nothing made a poor woman enter his chamber quicker than the idea they had a chance to be a Baroness. He smirked at the thought. They were just sports, when he wanted to settle down he'd be aiming a damn sight higher than the young women who cleaned out his fireplace on a morning. The fact he wouldn't get the remaining bulk of his inheritance until he was married was only a minor irritant at present. Now Athena Thornfield, a woman of the highest recommendation and reputation, would be a new effort. Those green eyes had sized him up and her slender figure, curvy bust and smooth wide pink lips would surely offer many nights of pleasure.

A wonderful story full of characters you love to love and ĺove to hate. I echo the sentiments around the ending but I'm relieved at the lack if true redemption arc (told you - characters you love to hate!)

Warning ends with a .... cliffhanger with no sequel. Great book overall by a talented author. I recommend it, and the cliffhanger doesn't ruin the book. It honestly do with a round of editing for character names being mixed up. This is one of the author's earlier books and is worth the read!
