Beauty And Her Beast

Beauty And Her Beast

"Your Dad wasn't as powerful as Michael." Vincent clenched his jaw at her reaction. "That's all you got to say? What I even expect from you?" Chloe wasn't feeling any remorse for what she did. "Let's cut the crap and get to the point, shall we?" Chloe asked with a smug smile on her face. "Hand over your power to me with all your property included." Eva looked at Chloe shocked when she said that. "So what are you waiting for? Sign them up. It wasn't yours in the first place. It was my Edward's and now its time to take them back."

Chantelle

Chantelle

Suddenly, Chantelle's eyes fluttered open, and she looked up at Delcan. A smile spread across her face, and she reached up to touch his cheek. "Hi," she said softly. Delcan felt his heart skip a beat. He had never seen her look at him like that before. "I didn't mean to wake you," he said, his voice low and gentle. Chantelle sat up and took his hand in hers. "You didn't," she said. "I was just resting my eyes." She looked down at the outfit she was wearing and blushed. "What do you think?"

When Chloe meets Mason

When Chloe meets Mason

I run a thumb over the sticker on the back of the phone with a word 'Chloe' on it. I chuckled. "Hello, Blondie.' A/N: Welcome to the world of Chloe and Mason! Thank you for making the decision to start this book, it means a lot to me.

This is amazing! I'm so glad to have found this gem. Kudos to the writer she really is able to capture the emotion really well and convey it to readers. I love how adorable the book is and it's not cringey in any way. The author sure knows what she's doing. I can't wait to read more.

Such a good read, I can't reiterate how thankful I am to have found your work, it's worth every coin I've spent. Although, I don't really agree with Mason's decision, I am curious how this is going to play out.

well done! im just grateful to have read this story eventhough, there are parts that may seem shallow/simple, but hey it really made me escape my life's trouble by making me laugh...i still cant move on about the "shawn mendez" obsession of Liam, caleb's intimate affection towards food and so on....

Any chance there will be a follow up story to this?! Id LOVE to see what happens after they graduate, and if they can make things work. Really good story, author! Took a bit to get used to the way it was written, but once I did, it was smooth sailing from there. Good little laughs throughout, too!

The Luna of a Sadist

The Luna of a Sadist

Chloe is 19 and very gorgeous, as in the Miss America peagent type. "Hey mom, have you seen my black pumps?" Chloe asked as she entered the kitchen. she was in a high waisted skirt and crop top sweatshirt that hung half way off the shoulders. She looked at me and face palmed. "Staz your not really gonna wear that are you?" She questioned.

She Wows the World Post-divorce

She Wows the World Post-divorce

She leaned forward slightly, deliberately revealing her cleavage to Bryce. With a smile, she said, "Hello, Mr. Gabelman. My name is Chloe Dalton. I'm the female protagonist on set. I used to endorse the property under your company." She extended a hand toward Bryce for a handshake. "It was a pleasure to meet you here." Bryce eyed her hand and left it hanging. He asked indifferently, "Is there something you need from me?" Chloe awkwardly retracted her hand to twirl her long curls. She then smiled coyly and said, "Oh, no. I just heard you were here, so I came to say hello, Mr. Gabelman."

In the Arms of the Enemy’s Brother

In the Arms of the Enemy’s Brother

“Doesn’t she look beautiful, Caroline?” Caroline looks up. Her smile is small and perfect and cold. “Stunning as always, Serena. That coat is divine.” “Thank you.” My voice is polite the way Liam likes. Chloe finally lifts her eyes. She is twenty-four, three years younger than me, but sometimes she looks fifteen with that baby face and huge blue eyes. Today her blonde hair is in two low braids, innocent schoolgirl style, but the dress she’s wearing costs five thousand dollars and shows half her chest. She stands up and hugs me, arms tight around my neck, perfume sweet and heavy.

Hijacking My Home for His Ego

Hijacking My Home for His Ego

I snatched the deed from their hands. When I saw the name on it, my eyes widened with shock. "How is this possible? Why is Maverick's name on it?" "Why wouldn't it be?" Bianca crossed her arms, sneering. "Chloe, you already gave him the apartment to pay off your debt. Now you're shamelessly refusing to accept that the deed was transferred. But that's just like you. You never know when to shut up." Her words drew roaring laughter from the crowd.

Unexpectedly His

Unexpectedly His

Her eyes darted from Lisa’s face to the floor as though caught doing something wrong. “Chloe?” Lisa called softly, trying not to alarm her. “What are you doing here?” The girl’s hands trembled. She shifted the mop nervously and stammered, “I… I… I want to… to speak with madam.” Lisa frowned but stepped aside, gesturing for her to enter. “Come in,” she said gently, closing the door behind her. Chloe, barely twenty, looked like a child caught between guilt and fear. She walked straight to where Bella was seated on the edge of the bed. Without a word, she dropped to her knees, her eyes filling with tears.

Once A Doormat, Now A Famous Billionaire Heiress

Once A Doormat, Now A Famous Billionaire Heiress

B I A N C A I wore a casual pair of jeans and a silk blouse. I was trying to look like a normal person today. Chloe was already at the cafe when I arrived, a cup of coffee in front of her. She looked up as I approached, a huge smile on her face. "Well, well, well," she said, her eyes twinkling. "If it isn't the queen of Hart Industries. Or should I say, the queen of Damian Moretti's heart?"

Frequently Asked Questions

Man, thinking about this takes me back. The best Chloe/Beca friendship fics—the ones that actually feel true to the characters—aren't just about them being roommates who sing. They dig into that weird, specific alchemy they had from the jump. Chloe sees something in Beca that nobody else does, even when Beca's being a closed-off grump, and she just... doesn't give up on her. But the fics that work for me show that's not a one-way street. They show Beca learning how to receive that kind of stubborn loyalty, which is huge for her character.

A lot of stories use the 'found family' trope, which fits, but the Chloe & Beca version is extra prickly. It's not all warm hugs immediately. It's Beca begrudgingly letting Chloe drag her to some weird event, or Chloe quietly noticing when Beca's actually into a arrangement. The friendship is built in those small moments of yielded privacy. I read one once that was just them sharing headphones on the tour bus, not talking, just listening to each other's playlists. It said more about their trust than a dozen big dramatic speeches. The tension in their friendship often comes from Beca's ambition versus Chloe's devotion to the group; good fics treat that as a real conflict, not just a plot device.

What I sometimes find missing is Chloe's own complexity. She's not just a perky foil. The fics that nail it give her moments of quiet doubt or frustration where Beca, surprisingly, becomes her anchor. That reversal is everything. It turns the friendship from a static support system into a living, breathing thing that costs them something but gives back more. That's why I keep coming back to them—not for the singing, but for the silence between the notes.
