Behind Her Eyes Novels & Stories

It was as if her feet were in an invisible lake of quicksand, sinking fast. When she tried to look around, all she saw was the forest or herself in it. She realized that she could no longer see herself clearly. It was as if someone was painting her picture onto the back of her eyelids, making her blindfolded. Or maybe it's not her eyes that are blindfolded. Maybe everything around her is just painted by itself. She wondered what color her eyes would be when she woke up after this nightmare. Her hazel-blue eyes are black. Maybe black means 'dark' or 'darkness'. She couldn't remember the word.

I just scratched the back of my head and looked her in the eyes. “That's the truth of me,” I stopped speaking for a moment and lowered my gaze to her flawless thighs as if one move she could reveal her most hidden and guarded legend. Instead of avoiding that look, i just closed my eyes and took another deep breath to keep the looming temptation from my mind. “What are you doing? are you praying?” she inquired after i closed my eyes. “Listen carefully to me. Look behind you,” I told her. I can't even open my eyes now, but i'm sure of the expression on her face now in front of me.

Not a trace of fear could be seen in her crimson eyes. The image slowly faded into darkness.

Her eyes were blurry because of tears flowing through them. She breathed heavily as anxiousness swallowed her. She froze when she heard someone chuckle behind her. At this moment she was scared, horror- stricken. She slowly turn around and looked at those eyes. But she couldn't see a thing. The lamp was still on but her blurry eyes were making it dificult for her to see anything. The red eyes were gone all of sudden.

I didn't have to do much with my lips. Eyes speak. Eyes never lie. Yes, the tongue could be sharp as a razor, but eyes as a diamond edge. She shook, tears glimmering in her eyes as she blinked multiple times to get rid of the tears and tear her gaze away from mine, but she couldn't. She was incapable. She was afraid if she tore her gaze away, her Iris would tear out. She was afraid if she looked away, the diamond edges would cut her sanity. “Fine! I'll do it!" She screamed, squeezing her eyes shut and lowering her head as soon as my gaze softened.

“Take them off.” She blinked her bambi eyes again. Damnit, why did she have to keep looking so innocent? It didn’t matter that he had this sudden ache to bury himself in her hot yielding body, at the end of the day, she was a whore. “Now.” “I’m on it…” Swiftly, she pried open one of her eyes and with expert fingers, she pulled out her dark grey contacts to give way to her sparkling blue eyes. We held each other's gaze for some seconds while I could see pains and torture in her eyes which made my heart ache with discomfort.
