She looked at me over the rim, her green eyes sharp and full of mischief. “So, you ran into an alpha, not Crescent Moon, not anyone local. Leather boots, serious power, and you said he smelled, what, amazing?” I groaned. “I never said 'amazing,' just maybe good-looking. But that’s not the point. He was an alpha wolf, Bella! He leaned down to show her their baby. "She got your eyes!" Eva exclaimed and Vincent smiled when their baby yawned. Then the music started. Taking deep breaths to calm myself, I tried to focus on the beats. The tune was beautiful. It was Swan Lake. Damon's choice. I was sure. I told him once how I supported the little swan's choice of death, because her mate's betrayal was unforgivable to me. Damon smirked at my comment that time, saying he would be Rothbart instead of Siegfried, and he wouldn't have let the little swan die. She would remain his pet, forever.

She was just staring at the necklace and the witch was watching her just as intently. I walked over to Savannah and I placed my hand on her arm. Even the sparks that I felt didn’t cause Savannah to look at me. “What is it?” I asked. “I want that.” She said plainly, pointing at an orange opal pendant with a brass chain. “Alright. You can get whatever you want.” I said, reaching forward and grabbing the necklace off of the shelf. She took it off me immediately and it looked like she was drawn to that pendant for some reason. Something more than just liking what it looked like. Something supernatural was calling to her and she wasn’t denying it.

I listen through the monitor. “What is it, Princess Bella?” Dawn asks. “I know this is a new place and you don’t know how to feel yet. Let’s go look outside. Oh, I see your Mama, she is walking. I guess a diaper change and then Dawn tells her goodnight.

Wilson said in a voice that made the hairs of my skin go up. “That’s not all, Bella is not the same person as she was. She became rich over the years,” I muttered. “What? She owns a small business? I can take it all away in a snap of a finger,” Wilson smirked. “No, that’s not it. Bella changed her identity too.
