Bella When I woke up, the first thing I noticed was the cold, empty space beside me. Edward was gone. The bed felt vast and hollow without him, and an uneasy feeling crept over me. Something was wrong. I slipped out of bed, throwing on my clothes. I padded down the hall. The faint, rhythmic sound of metal striking metal reached my ears. Bella's POV I giggled as Eden, my boyfriend, suddenly squeezed my butt while we were kissing. "You naughty boy," I teased, my eyes sparkling with amusement. Eden's face lit up with a mischievous grin, showcasing his perfectly white teeth. "Guilty as charged," he chuckled, and we both laughed, our lips still tantalizingly close. But then, Eden's expression turned serious, his ocean blue eyes locking onto mine with an intense stare that made my knees weaken. There was nothing for them to say or do, they knew better. Belle got a good scolding and was grounded to her room. When her life leaves she runs to her room banging the door so loud making the entire building tremble. Edward got an ear full from Damon, and in return, his anger and frustration were transferred to the manager. The maid arranged for the previous night shift could not be reached and after scanning the country, Edward found out she left the country with her family.
