Belladonna sighed and nodded once before she took a step closer to Allana and wrapped her arms around Allana's body, and growled, “Do it.” Lisha cupped Allana’s face in her hands, took a deep breath then placed her lips against Allana’s. The center of the circle grew colder; frost started forming on the ground around Lisha, Allana, and Belladonna. When every bit of Lisha's breath left her body, she crumbled at Allana’s feet. Belladonna tilted her head to one side, looking down at Lisha’s lifeless form, then turned to Allana. Allana’s eyes were locked on Lisha; she chuckled and sneered,

Artemisia pulled some letters, admiring the gold of the back, there were drawings of leaves so delicate that the young woman could spend hours and hours watching it. Artemisia landed six cards in the middle of the sunflower table, Tinea turned the cards carefully, looking intently at them. In the first letter turned, the woman did not make a very good expression, the letter had a drawing of a flower similar to the belladonna flower, but a little different, below the drawing and was written in gold "Lily-of-the-black wind". The second letter had a drawing of a grayish trunk with pink flowers rising from it, below, also in golden letters, was written "Judas-tree".

Bonded II, it’s called, its art cover adorned with striking imagery that sends a chill down my spine. The cover has Hugh in it, behind him is his gray wolf, but unlike the first book, Yvanna isn’t in there with him. It isn’t just the artwork that makes my blood run cold—it’s also the name emblazoned across the bottom part of the cover, in an elegant script that strikes a jolt of recognition coursing through my veins.
