Benjamin Chen Billionaire Novels & Stories

Chapter 86 Lora's scream echoed through the half-empty Caldwell mansion as the television broadcast showed James Bennett confidently shaking hands with the CEO of Global Tech Innovations. Her fingers trembled against the remote, turning the volume higher as if the increased sound could somehow change the reality unfolding before her eyes. "In breaking business news today, nineteen-year-old James Bennett has secured an unprecedented billion-dollar deal with Global Tech Innovations for exclusive distribution rights across Asia and Europe. The young heir to the Bennett fortune has shown remarkable business acumen beyond his years..."

He said again when he was close enough. I glanced at his face only once before turning away, twirling the contents in my glass. I recognized him in an instant. Benjamin Gates. A 60-year-old tech billionaire. CEO of Gates Technology, husband of Patricia Callaway. He seldom came to events, and even more rare was it for him to talk to someone. So what was he doing talking to me? "I haven't seen you in years." He greeted leaning his back on the counter while facing me. "How are you doing?"

Definitely fine by me. At least I’d be away from Hannah and her insufferable condescension. “Forward your account details to me so I can make the half payment as agreed,” Roshan said. I nodded and immediately sent the details. His phone beeped in response, and within seconds, my phone lit up with a credit alert. My heart skipped. One million dollars. I was overjoyed. My account had never held that much money before. I was pretty sure even the bank was stunned—it had only ever seen my spare change and broken pennies.

Opula shot a scowled look at her beholder, “And what could that be. I don’t think I can be of help her. I am as handicap as you.” Kate tossed her head in disapproval, “hell n. father is delaying the four hundred million. He suspects’ me of shady deals and wouldn’t give in. And Doctor Bernard is not going to stay low without his cash that is why he comes for my body. Please, you can get this money from James Benson. He is the richest tycoon in New York and if you demand such money from him…” “…He will hastily give it to me because every day I vomit billions of dollars in different currencies for him, huh?”

"Her father. And mine. There are things I hadn't realized until now. Things I'd thought were long buried." She advanced toward him. "What sort of things?" He leaned forward to her, his own eyes tired. "Investments. Silent partners. A deal made years ago—years before the foundation ever existed. My father was a party to some of Gregory Lane's original tax infractions. For it, he was given a stake in one of their private holding companies. It's how he maintained the Bennett name respectable during the financial crisis." Elena looked at him. "Your father was conducting business with hers?"

Since Benine knew she was distressed when they were in school, he was worried when he received her call. "Is your dad a billioniare? I mean...sorry for such question," Flora paused. She didn't know if her question makes sense. "Yes, he is," Benine answered. Benine's father was indeed a billionaire but majority of his wealth were illegal. He do have a company where he acts as a CEO but the money generated from that company is nothing compared to the amount he has. Benine's father head the most dangerous Mafia gang and they engage in many illegal businesses.

Not only was the man not crippled as she had believed, he was the popularly known BENZO too! The anonymous billionaire who had been trending for the last five years. “T… there must be a glitch somewhere. I can’t believe this is happening. Never. This is… this is a lie!” She cried out. “What?” Aaron snapped his brows together and then stood up. “How can he be Benzo? Do you know what it means to be that person? Benzo is known to be the richest tycoon in the…” “Are you concerned about that and not the fact that my son can actually walk?!” He hollered and he flinched.

“Yes, money oils everything.” “I suppose you have many charities that you support?” He smiles at me. “No.” “Why not? You’re a billionaire. Think how much good you can do in the world.” He walks towards me with my drink. “Stop being naïve, Star. How do you think one becomes a billionaire in the first place?” I scowl as I take my drink from him. “I’m a billionaire because I made millions of people all around the world poorer. Through immoral and illegal means, I acquired resources for a fraction of the price they should have been. What should have belonged to the people I took for myself.”

joseph spoke "We are giving you a fair choice Madison, Saul is going out of control, we can't lose our money all because of him and your pride" another shareholder said "I domt know what you all want me to say, put yourself in my shoes, what would you do if you found yourself in this situation, I know many of you know me as a billionaire but I wasnt born rich unlike a lot of you, I was born poor, every thing I have right now is all because of my hard work, I began this company from strach, even when no one believed in me, I believed in myself and gave my all to see the success of this company,

“Yeah, Dad.” “I’ve got good news,” Victor’s voice could be heard from the other side. There was excitement in his voice which was a rare thing. “A big billionaire has shown interest in our company and is willing to invest.” “Oh, that’s great. Who’s this billionaire?” Vivian asked in delight. “Adrian J Claimer.” Vivian’s expression froze for a second. She couldn’t believe it. “You mean… the son of Sir Gareth Claimer?” “Yeah.”
