Beta Before Alpha Novels & Stories

"The Alpha is the leader of the pack, possessing innate strength, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of their pack. They are responsible for making decisions, guiding their members, and maintaining the pack's unity." As she spoke, Freda's hand moved across the whiteboard, outlining the word "Alpha" with a sense of reverence and admiration. I could almost feel the weight of their authority and the depth of their connection to the pack. "Next, we have the Beta," Freda continued, her voice laced with respect. "The Beta serves as the second-in-command, providing essential support to the Alpha and stepping in to lead when necessary. They are trusted advisors, mentors, and enfo

I fold my arms and lean against the desk. “A beta’s job is to be a buffer between the alpha and others. Beta is an alpha’s right-hand, confidant, and sort of bodyguard. Whatever business that an alpha engages in, a beta takes a look at it first.” I watch Aysel keenly as her gaze lowers for a moment. She is thinking. I can hear her quickened heartbeat.

He always said that one day, we would have our ceremony and become true mates. It turned out he was lying from the very beginning. He wasn't a Beta; he was an Alpha. He wasn't coming back to claim me; he was already sharing his throne. I curled up on the floor, crying until my throat was raw, until my whole body shook with spasms. In the portrait on the wall, Declan gazed at Celeste with a look of pure, adoring love. The same look he once gave me when he said: “Aria, in my heart, nothing is more important than you.”

Beta Jesse says to me and I know in the eyes of all the Betas this is something they have never seen before and can only dream about. “I wouldn’t say its awesome. I am so used to my roll as Beta that I don’t know if I can ever allow myself to be an Alpha.” I tell him as we walk around the ground together securing the border. Beta Jesse then chuckled before he said, “Alpha Shawn, an Alpha is the same thing as a Beta but just one step higher. You still can train your warriors and lead them into battle. You’re just not the second man anymore but the first man in charge.”

His voice was so cold, clearly holding resentment for me, nobody needed a dictionary to know that he thought I was responsible for the deaths in the pack house. "Oh." I said in a low voice and was just going to resume my search for the Alpha when his voice stopped me. "I just want you to know that as Beta my faithfulness to the Alpha will never waiver, and I won't hesitate to clear whatever danger might lurk around him." Beta Devin said, and it really sounded to me like it was a strong warning. "And neither will I." I groaned. I cared about the alpha much more than any of them could ever, we shared the mate bond that meant he was mine, always.

she said in a quiet voice. My brows furrowed. “Who could it be?” Kaiden didn't need to be introduced when entering my chambers. Who was it? I wondered. “Send them in.” I rose to my feet, taking the book with me. Jasper walked into the room, draped in a mourning attire. “Jasper, what's going on? What's with the attire?” I asked softly. Jasper dropped his eyes to the marble floor, his voice shaking as he spoke. “The Alpha is dead.” The book in my hand dropped to the floor.

he managed to spit out. My forehead creased in anger as I glared dangerously at him. So he knew, the bastard was snitching me away to this scumbag of a Beta. “If your Alpha was not a betrayer, he wouldn’t be ratting his good friend out to his Beta.” Jeremy’s eyes widened when he realized his mistake. “My… my Alpha trusts me the same way you trust Nathan,” he stammered, breathing heavily. I bent before him and jerked up his head.

He’s always prepared for every situation. “So, are you rooting for me?” My question brought out a rare smile on his lips. He knew where I was driving; I wanted him to support my decision to hold onto Aria, even without me clearly stating it. “You should know that a Beta is meant to support an Alpha to the best of his abilities.” He gave his answer coolly, and I raised my hand for a fist bump. ****

He sticks his arm out and I grasp it giving it a firm shake. "I know, I should have been here last night." "No something to know about Aurora, sometimes it is best to make her stew for a bit or she can start getting spoilt all the time." " Good to know." "I'll go get her for you." " Wait a moment, before you get her. I have something with you I want to talk about." " Anything Alpha what is it?" " I want the honour of you being my and this packs Beta. Will you do the honour?"

Another argued. "No the right to become alpha is Austin's by right. Remember Brooklyn was born first but was quiet till the next day but Austin was born a few minutes after his brother and he cried out immediately he was born so automatically Austin is the first and would be made the alpha and head of the company" Harry said which got the members nodding their approval. Brooklyn who had been outside eavesdropping got angry as he heard what his uncle said and left the house in anger, he went to Forest and made the whole forest rumble. He used a large fireball to burn up half of the forest.
