I tilted my head, asking her if there was anything she needed. “Nat? What’s wrong?” I asked. She didn’t speak. Rather, she pulled me closer. Her face is now buried under my neck and her heavy sighs are creeping through my skin. “Natyaramona!” I called again, probing for the matter. “B-blood....” she managed to utter before fainting in my arms. My eyes widened as my body froze. Natya is a witch and a she-wolf. Her asking for blood could only mean one thing - she was successfully converted into a vampire.

He’d never seen anything like them. He couldn’t look away. That was the moment something shifted inside him. Her Name Was Beth Beth Whitmore. Everyone on campus knew her name. She was the daughter of Harrison Whitmore, one of the biggest real estate moguls in the country. I closed my coat while he picked up the whiskey bottle and glass, then placed them on the side table. I heard the elevator doors opening as he walked towards the hallway, heading to his room. What the hell was Bethany doing here at this hour? Bethany had been one of the top students in my class. It didn't surprise me that even after graduation, Nathan decided to keep working with her. If it were not for them, I would have already started spamming Andrew's phone with calls and eventually tried to force his hand by jumping into the river. I was very thankful for these dreams. My eyes widened in surprise. “A birthday gift for you?” I teased. Chris chuckled. “No, your gift to me.” Curious, I took the box and carefully unwrapped it. Inside was a delicate black collar, adorned with a silver tag engraved with a single word—Mine. My heart pounded as I looked up at him. Chris took the collar from my hands, stepping closer. “You’ve been waiting for me all this time,” he murmured, tilting my chin up. “Now, I’m here. ************************************************ Chris POV The news is on at the bar I'm currently sitting at drawing fellow patrons in as the news of what the police has discovered flashes on the screen along with a picture of her, her beautiful smile as bright as ever calls me in like a sirens song followed by the news that they found her in a shallow grave just outside of Benson Lake a few miles from Multnomah Falls by a couple with a dog that had smelt her decomposing body as they let him out to use the bathroom.

Bethany could be a very annoying person when she wanted to but deep down, she was a simple girl who cared too much and always wanted to help in whatever way she could. "Yes, I am. Now, if you will excuse me, I need to go rest my head a bit," Jasmine said and moved into the bedroom to take a nap. A few hours later, she was awoken by the rigorous tapping on her shoulder by Bethany. "Girl, what the hell?" She asked as she stroke her eyes. "A man is waiting for you outside," Bethany said with a wide grin on her face.
