My Ex's Betrayal

My Ex's Betrayal

His face was swollen and bloody. Shawn's eyes were bloodshot. "You animal! Fred treated you like his brother! Why would you do that to him? For 300 grand, no less! Why don't you just go to hell?" Chris froze, finally understanding what Shawn meant. However, he clenched his jaw defiantly. "Have you found out? Why do you get to act righteous? You claim to love him, but your mother ruined his family, and you acted like he betrayed you. You drove him to ruin! It's you who forced him to his death!"

The Alpha's Pampered Wolfless Mate

"And now you'll pay for humiliating me in front of the entire pack." I stared at Amelia, begging her with my eyes to tell me this was some kind of mistake. But she looked away, her shoulders shaking. "How could you?" I whispered. That was the moment the truth hit me like a blade to the chest. She'd betrayed me. My only friend, the one person I thought I could trust, had led me straight into a trap. "Amelia, please," I said, my voice breaking. "We're friends. We've been through everything together."

Betrayal and Devotion

Betrayal and Devotion

He wouldn’t betray me. But then who? My mind races, replaying every interaction, every word spoken. It might be anyone. And that’s what terrifies me the most. The concept that someone we’ve trusted, someone who has been with us through everything, could be the one tearing us apart from the inside. The treachery feels too close, too personal, and it left me reeling. Marco’s voice cuts through the silence, strong and decisive. "We’re going to find out who it is," he continues, his tone dangerously calm. "And when we do, they’ll regret ever crossing me."

Falling For The Enemy

Falling For The Enemy

Little did I know that it was one of the wrong decisions that I made in my life. I had done so much for him. And yet, he still went ahead to betray me. I watched him and I wasn’t sure what memory would leave my head anytime soon. He didn’t betray me with a stranger. He didn’t betray me with a random girl from his club. He chose to betray me with my best friend. I couldn’t help but wonder why. Why did Zara also choose to betray me? She was the one person who I wasn’t scared to be vulnerable around. She had seen every part of me. I was open with her about almost everything.

My Best Friend’s Father Wants me

My Best Friend’s Father Wants me

It was from yesterday. “I never knew I had sluts for friends. You do everything for them and they turn around to screw you over.” My eyes skimmed those words over and over. It was obvious who she was talking about and I couldn’t blame her for being mad. I scrolled a little more and there was another post from a few hours ago. “Trust no one. Friends and family can betray you. You only look out for yourself.” I sighed and put the phone down. This was a mess. I could only imagine how Bridget felt. Her dad, Eliot and I had betrayed her. She was shattered and I couldn’t even bring myself to call her or even send her a text message.

FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN

Not that they are close friends, but you can consider her as her friend. So why? She wants to laugh. According to what she read from a random textbook; the betrayal of a friend is more painful than the death of someone. It is certainly painful. The world is cruel, Althea always knows that, but her living a comfortable life for these past years made her forget it and here she was, suffering from a betrayal from not only the girl she once thought of as a friend but also her lover.

The best part of your story is Characterization and language❤. The plot twist is amazing, For a moment a/f 1st chapter I thought she will find another nicest man, but you changed the entire scenario. So unimaginable twist. I hated Tyler in 1st chapter, but now chapters later I kind of love him.

it's a cute story, only the jumping around time frame can get a little confusing. I think a note at the top of each chapter that mentions *present* or *flashback ___ years* would be beneficial for the reader. Other than that. I really like the story and am looking forward to updates:)

You Can Run But You Can't Hide My Contractual Wife

You Can Run But You Can't Hide My Contractual Wife

She had to come up with a good alibi otherwise she would be putting herself in big trouble. “Boss, he is…” With Mark, she’s not good at lying as he knew everything about her. They were together before and longer in the present. “Greta, lie to me or I swear… our friendship is over!” Mark threatened. Who would want to be lied to and betrayed? As for Mark, Greta was the only friend he had left. She was like a family to him so he expected Greta would see him the same. Betrayal in a relationship was something unforgivable especially if he trust the person so much.

There is no growth in this book. The author keeps moving in a circle. With 399 chapters, misunderstanding btw Bill & Arabella & evil plots against them has not been cleared. I don't see this book ending any time soon. The author keeps repeating the same intentions of the characters in every chapter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Betrayal from someone you trusted hits like a truck, doesn't it? I went through something similar a few years back when a close friend leaked personal stuff I'd told them in confidence. The initial shock was brutal—I oscillated between rage, sadness, and this weird numbness for weeks. What helped me eventually was reframing it: their actions revealed their character, not mine. I journaled a lot, wrote angry unsent letters, and slowly distanced myself without dramatic confrontations.

Oddly, diving into stories about betrayal in media (like 'The Count of Monte Cristo' or even 'Aggretsuko'!) gave me catharsis. Seeing others navigate that pain—fictionally or not—made me feel less alone. Now, I don’t regret the friendship; it taught me to set clearer boundaries without closing off entirely. Trust feels scarier post-betrayal, but it’s also more intentional.
