I do not want to be caught behind. Dang take it easy girl. Trevor says to her. The school year just started. Exactly. Beverly said. It just started and I do not want to miss something important. Beverly is a new student from Tampa, Florida. Her parents were originally from Iran and moved two who Tampa 5 years before Beverly was born. Because of her Arabic heritage, Beverly and her parents were subjected to do discrimination and threats. So, they decided to move the family to Avalon where she had Mets Madison and Trevor.

“You two should hang out and bond over your mutual love for Korean dramas.” I forced a smile, nodding. “Yeah, we should. Let’s begin, shall we?” “Yeah, sure.” We started working on the assignment – discussing our thoughts, objections, and opinions and writing them down. About 30 minutes into it, Alex pulled out a bag of marshmallows. I watched him as he opened it carefully as if any rough or sudden movement would crush the marshmallow and render it unfit for human consumption. He proceeded to pick one and put it into his mouth. He closed his eyes as he chewed it, making a sound in his throat. It felt like it was just him and his marshmallows that mattered. It was as if he was shooting a comm

“Ummm … “ I looked across the room as far as my eyes could see, but I didn’t see Lance. ‘I think so. I’m not sure … “ I bit my lips. “I’m supposed to meet my husband here.” “What’s his name?” “Lance Kyle Russo” “Oh! Russo. Right this way Mrs. Russo.” As I followed her across the room, I instantly regretted not dressing up fancy. Even the maxi dress would be more appropriate. Everyone was dressed fancy; I was the only odd one out. As a result, I received intense stares from all of them as I walked past. My knees were shaking as if I had just been placed in front of an auditorium filled with people to deliver a speech on sex or some awkward topic. I passed a table with an old man who stuck his

THE BEAST I MARRIED. CHAPTER 59 ASHLEYS POV. It was another working day. Another day of my miserable life to go and stay in the office and get punished for every little mistake that I will make. So far, I could swear that this is the worst mistake of my life.

“That’s right. Miss Marsh said it with such sincerity, and she seemed a bit unhappy as well. She kept muttering that she had made a mistake and made you upset, Mr. Terran. She even said that you’re the person she cares about the most.” Absalom, who had been furious a second ago, instantly calmed down. “Where is she?” “Miss Marsh has been sitting on the viewing platform, looking at the sea. She looks very sad.” Absalom furrowed his brows, and his expression was tense as he quickly walked away after hearing this. Hunter followed closely behind. Shortly after, the maid’s cell phone rang, and the call was connected.

Tonight, they had chosen to return to this hidden haven, a place where they could steal moments of tenderness away from the chaos of Omaha. Beverly arrived earlier than expected, her heart pounding with anticipation. She had chosen to come early so that she could leave on time to continue her werewolf hunting, a mission that weighed heavily on her shoulders. Balancing her love life with her duty had become a delicate dance, and tonight, she hoped to make it work. The woods were alive with the whispers of the night, the rustling of leaves, and the soft symphony of nocturnal creatures. Beverly found a secluded spot and settled down, her senses attuned to any sign of Elton's arrival.

Beverly said before turning back to the audience. "And so, they’ve decided to get married! You all know I’m not getting any younger, and I want Alexis to have someone by his side when I’m gone. So, I’m asking everyone to congratulate our couple on this big milestone in their lives!" Beverly added. Alice was slightly annoyed because she felt like Beverly stole her moment. She believed she should have made the announcement, not Beverly, but she couldn’t do anything about it. Even Arman, Beverly’s husband, remained silent despite wanting to speak because Beverly had already taken over. Meanwhile, Alexis seemed indifferent—he wasn’t happy about what was happening.

She let herself be pale, because Margaret had already given the room permission to see her that way. But she did not stop watching. Then the second wave came, and the second wave was where the danger lived. The woman’s name was Vivian Marsh. She was younger than most of the others, nearer Olivia’s age, dressed beautifully and a little aggressively, with dark red lipstick and a glass held too loosely in one hand. She did not wait for Margaret to frame her. She came straight toward Leah with the bright, dangerous ease of someone who believed she had the right to skip ceremony.

They thought Brent would be happy if they hated and opposed the marriage. A few moments later, Martha finally chuckled. “I was so engrossed in talking to your father that I forgot about your wife.” She smiled forcefully at Beverley. “Ah, Beverley, it’s so good to see you tonight.” Beverley only smiled flatly. She knew the middle-aged woman was only pretending in front of Brent. So, she didn’t want to engage her or please her. After that, Brent pulled out a chair for Beverley. She finally sat there awkwardly. “Thank you,” she whispered.

She returned to the table Deronda was sitting at with Margo, a black woman who had lived in the Bronx all her life and she stayed drunk. “Lookin’ good, Bev,” Margo slurred. “You hadn’t missed a step.” “Of course not,” Beverly said with a grin and sat down. “Looks like this Mr. For Tonight might not show,” Deronda said. “He’s an hour away from here. He’ll probably be her in ten minutes or so,” Beverly said. “In the meantime, I’m hungry,” Margo slurred. “I am, too,” Deronda added. “I need another beer and I wouldn’t mind a snack,” Beverly said. “Let’s combine our money and get some food. I’m sure Bruce will be hungry when he gets here.”
