A familiar feeling.
I do as my wolf suggested, and attempt to defend myself. “I am not acting shifty at all, Ezra. Perhaps if you did not listen to your brother you would not think the worst of someone first, before thinking.” I say with a hint of spite, earning a raised brow from my brother-in-law.
“Getting a little brave, aren’t we, little one?” He questions. “I think I asked if you were going somewhere?”
“And last time I checked, I don’t think I have to answer to you.” I reply, beginning to move away from him, but as I do I notice a small smirk teasing at his lips.
