I pushed myself up when I saw him stay silent, standing in the doorway with a deep frown and storms in his eyes.
“If you don’t take me to Dad, I’ll go by myself. I’ll beg him!” I stood up despite the dizziness and fought my way across the carpet.
“Our father died a few days ago, Victoria, and now I’m the new patriarch of the Bianchi family.”
I stared at him like he’d grown another head.
