When I slid the cheque back to her, her smile froze as she stared at the number, her brows knitting together in disbelief. $10,000,000,000. She looked up at me sharply. “Are you out of your mind?” “That’s the amount I want…ten billion dollars. Still think you can buy me?” I smirked. “You think this is funny?” she snapped. “Its just business, Mrs Donovan.” “That figure is outrageous.” “Then just say you can’t afford it instead of wasting my time.” Her face flushed with fury. “You insolent….” “I have work to do.” I interrupted her as I stood up, pushing my chair back as I walked out.

Each bill feels like a piece of my soul being catalogued. "All here," he confirms. "Great." I turn toward the door. "See you next month." "Not so fast." I freeze. Owen slides a piece of paper across the table. A bill. With a number that makes my vision blur. Five hundred thousand dollars. "What the hell is this?"

When Agnes finished speaking, he turned to Riffen and said: - Riffen, I don't bring any money, can you help me pay? Riffen thought, because now there's no need to bring cash, they can scan the code. Maybe something as basic as this that Agnes didn't know. But perhaps because Riffen was too carefree and didn't think much, he nodded in agreement. He took out his phone from his wallet and intentionally dropped a bill, it flew into Doris's workplace but because she was issuing bills at the time, she didn't see it.

"Mister Billy, I'm not Chairman Buchi from the oil company. I'm a collector. I heard that you have a bronze cauldron, and I'd like to purchase it from you. Please name your price." "What? This is ridiculous! Where did you get my number? Do you know that anyone with a net worth anywhere below ten billion dollars has no right to even know my number? This is infuriating to me, and I hope you delete my number at once and keep it private, or I promise you that you'll have no place in Migorn." "Are you saying that you don't want to name me a price then, Mister Billy?" "Exactly." "Alright, Mister Billy. I've got a folder that I'll send to you right now. You can take a look at it, and then decide if

Just as the pen was about to touch the paper, they heard a bright voice coming from behind them. "Wait!" It was Caroline. As she walked toward them, she combed her tousled hair with her fingers and stopped beside Brie. She scanned the words on the page and then turned to look at Brie. Caroline's stare caused Brie's heart to jump into her mouth. "W—what do you want?" "Ms. Collins, you're quite absentminded, aren't you? You haven't given me the 20 million dollars that you owe me." "When did I ever owe you—" Brie's voice trailed off the moment she recalled the bet they made at the jewelry store before, and her face flushed red instantly. "That doesn't count! That was a scam!"

But clearly, why would I pay attention to them when I had a big offer waiting out there for me? They were always a great inconvenience to my life, but well, was there anything better than being a billionaire? Of course not. Whenever the journalists felt the need to attack me with questions, my bouncers were always there to guard me out of their proximity. Soon, we reached my car. I hopped into the backseat, fastened my seat belt. Another good thing about being a billionaire was you never had to talk. Gesturing with the eyes, snapping the fingers, clearing the throat, would do the trick. And right now, a snap of my fingers got my driver to start the car.

“Bill, please. What is the total?” By then, the store assistant had printed the long, long bill and said with a smile, “Miss, we’ve already completed the calculation. Tyr walked over and said with a bright smile, “It’s just a little over two million. Can’t you pay this bit of money?”

I slightly laugh at her, "Hot? Isn't he like 50?" "50? No he's like 32 or something. Like I said youngest billionaire! You know you're lucky that you're Carl's assistant, the rest of us are dead. We all have to step up our A-game. I don't want to lose my job!" Nina says frantically. "C'mon! The guy can't be that bad right?" I ask. Nina simply shrugs. The guy can't be such a tyrant I mean, he can't right?

Jill brought us the check and Ant looked at her and smiled. "Alright Darlin, since you were such a good sport and made my friend her some special pancakes. What bill do you have due this week?" "I'm sorry?" Jill said confused. "What bill do you have due this week?" He repeated. "Um, I guess my water bill." She said hesitantly. "And how much is that?" He asked. "About fifty dollars." She said confused "That's it?" Ant asked as he took out his wallet and placed two hundred-dollar bills on the table. "Yall don't do that tip sharing bullshit do you?

“Seriously? It’s been a month. Who sends this now?” Harrison scanned the rest of the card, but his expression quickly shifted—his curiosity replaced by something darker, more alarmed. “What’s wrong?” Carmilla asked, sensing the tension building. Harrison’s eyes met those of his family. He gave a small, tense nod. They responded silently, urging him to open the package. His hands trembled slightly as he began unwrapping it—then suddenly, he recoiled, flinging the package away from him. “Who the hell delivered this?!” he shouted, his voice shaking.
