Billionaire's Substitute Bride

Billionaire's Substitute Bride

my father says, stepping forward, "but this union was never meant to be a love match. It was only ever business. The fact that Xavier and your sister fell in love was only a lucky incident." "You are our only hope now. You have to get married today; you just have to," Mother said. I considered her words. I knew she was right. Without Sinclair's investment, Eldora would go bankrupt. As much as I hated to admit it, we were royally screwed if a wedding didn't take place today. Not many people knew about Kathrine's and Xavier's engagement, and the few that knew were made to sign an NDA. From what I know, that was the only condition Kathrine had when agreeing to the engagement. My taking her plac

The Billionaire contract Bride

The Billionaire contract Bride

I needed to ask. "Tell me your secret, how did you know about this party?" I asked. Emily laughed it off. She rolled her eyes at me and said in an excited tone. "So you remember this guy I told you about? Turns out he is the son of a multimillionaire CEO, anyways, his father is friends with the organizer of the masquerade party." Emily ranted. I nodded my head slowly, I was not surprised. Emily had a thing of changing men every new week. She never exactly saw the idea of settling down for marriage as a big thing, neither did I.

Author Ria
I was a little confused because you wrote she would never meet the father during the surrogacy. But he came to the hospital? Apart from that I loved the first three chapters and have so many questions. I'm excited to continue reading and see how the story unfolds.

Unravelling the Billionaire's Bride

Unravelling the Billionaire's Bride

“You’ve just made headlines.” Fascinated, Lewis smiled. He wouldn't put it past his brother to miss any opportunity to flirt with a beautiful girl. Especially at such a time when he knew his chances of being accepted were high. They danced in silence for several long minutes before he looked down at her. She wore a brown silk dress that clung softly to her body, accentuating her curves. Her auburn hair had been swept up, the reddish-brown strands woven into a braid that hugged the side of her head before folding into a voluminous bun at her nape. Tiny pearl pins adorned the braid, catching glints of light with every turn of her head

Tempting The Billioanire

Tempting The Billioanire

"The price tag alone—" "Emily, your husband is a billionaire. Stop looking at price tags." Tasha adjusted the veil. "This is your real wedding. The one you'll remember forever. It should be perfect." My husband. The words still felt surreal sometimes. "Besides," Tasha continued, "after everything you've been through—Karen, Louis, Catherine, Marcus—you deserve something beautiful that's just yours." Before I could respond, my phone rang. Alexander's name flashed on the screen. "Hey," I answered. "I'm at the dress fitting. Is everything okay?"

The billionaire's discarded bride

The billionaire's discarded bride

Half an hour later, I was in the backseat of a black sedan, clutching my bouquet so hard some petals had bent beneath my fingers. The city blurred outside the window. This was really happening. I was really being taken to marry Adrian Lancaster. The Adrian Lancaster. The billionaire heir with the ruthless reputation, the cold face in business magazines, the man Sienna had once called too dangerous to love. The courthouse ceremony passed like a fever dream. Just a private room with a single civil official. My father's voice did most of the talking while my mother just stood one side, staring at her nails like this was none of her concern.

The Billionaire's Bride

The Billionaire's Bride

Jasmine sat down immediately with a puzzled look on her face and Avery cut to the chase immediately, because he had no time to beat around the bush. “The woman from last night wasn’t just another woman like you called her.” He started. “She’s mine. She is Zoe Madrigal of Madrigal Hotels and she is my wife.” He didn’t fail to register the shocked look on her face that disappeared almost immediately. She didn’t stand up like he had expected, she only studied him. “You got married?” She asked and when he nodded his head, laughed out loud. “Well, that is surely a surprise. I didn’t see anything about it in the news, Avery.”

The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

"Stupid. Very stupid. But you know how these families are. Rebellion takes weird forms." "Charming." "Right?" Scarlett's voice had that edge again. That dry amusement. "So what about it?" Her smile was wicked. "Guess who the bride is." I blinked. Processed. "Wait. What?" She paused. Dramatic. The way she did when she had good gossip. "The girl. The one his family wanted him to marry. The business arrangement girl." I turned to look at her. Actually turned my whole body. "What?" "Grace Wellington. Daughter of the Wellington banking family. Worth about three billion dollars. Been groomed since birth to marry into another dynasty."

Appreciation to authors writing. it is easy to visualize things while reading. I love reading this book. Mia is an inspiration except for the fact that she is using Thomas. My fav characters are Mia, Kyle, Sarah(Mia's mom), Nate, Scarlett, Katherine(Kyle's mom), Alexander, Ethan and Morton.

great story. thomas lied cause he was jealous while kyle lied cause he wanted to protect her. she clearly loves kyle even though she doesn't admit it and is only with thomas since he gives a sence of security/love to her and kids. i hope kyle and mia clear their misunderstandings and end up together

You are Mine, Stepbrother!

You are Mine, Stepbrother!

He gets a similar color of tux for himself only his color is darker, almost a black color that shines blue. As much as I hate it, we did give a replica of the stunning power couple, Billionaire husband and a trophy wife. Apparently it is a mask party so we both also get masks. ^^^^^^^^ It's Friday night and I finish getting ready for the party with Beatrice help. My mask is a silver color that covers only my eyes to the tip of my nose. By the time I head down the stairs, Ryan is already there waiting in his suit and mask that covers the majority of his face.

Frequently Asked Questions

I just finished that one last week, and honestly, the 'secret' felt a bit paint-by-numbers to me. The big reveal was that she was the daughter of the rival corporation head, sent to gather intel. The mask was a gimmick to conceal a distinctive birthmark, but her true identity was the real ticking bomb.

What kept me turning pages wasn't the secret itself, but how the emotional honesty between them developed despite the layers of deception. He'd confide in her about his vulnerabilities, not knowing she was the very person poised to exploit them. That tension, the guilt eating at her during tender moments, was more compelling than any corporate espionage twist.

I've read a dozen variations of this plot. The real hidden secret in these stories is rarely about a forgotten lineage or a hidden scar; it's the author's challenge to make us care about two people who are fundamentally lying to each other from page one. Sometimes it works because the characters feel real. In this case, the ending where she chooses him over her family felt rushed, like the secret was a box to check off rather than the heart of the conflict.
