"But that doesn't get us out of this room." "Let me finish." Freya wiped a stray tear from her cheek. "You are the vessel for the Dragon Flame, and the Flame is an ancient source of power. I can use a conduit—you—as long as you don’t fight me. If you let me in, I won't die and I can steal power directly from the Flame. I can cast a spell to keep us extra safe. But the Flame is ancient; it has to be kept busy. The stone my mother is using was created from the Flame itself. Both things have to be done simultaneously. While Sasha’s mother is being marked by the Flame..."

Something solid, vast, and moving with a sound like a hundred sails snapping taut. The dragon landed. It was battered. One wing hung at a crooked, wrong angle, dripping a thick, dark fluid onto the stone. A patch of scales on its side was blackened and smoking, witch-iron burn. But its eyes blazed with a fury that was older than mountains. It did not roar. It hissed, a sound of steam on ice, and the very air froze. The Hounds stopped, staring up in primal terror. Kael’s pistol wavered.

I stand there for a moment, looking down at her. She looks so small in my bed. So fragile. But I know she is not fragile. I have seen her fight. I have seen her stand up to Kendal. I have seen her refuse to break. She is stronger than me. I walk to the window. Open it. Cold air rushes in. I need to think. I need to breathe. I need to remember who I am. I am Cassius Draven. The Dragon King. The most feared man in the kingdom.

She screamed and hid behind him when she saw us. “WHO ARE YOU?!” Big Boss exclaimed looking back and forth on us. I take a good look at him. He looks like the same age as me. “It’s not for you to know.” Black Dragon answered pointing his gun to him. I gripped my own gun, ready to use it if needed. Big Boss is about to move while the woman positioned to run. Black Dragon spoke. “Move even an inch and I’ll blow your heads simultaneously.” His voice sounded cold and emotionless. I looked at him and was startled to see his face expressionless. He looked like a professional cold blooded killer. Big Boss and the woman froze. Black Dragon turned to the woman.

She repeated it, clumsy at first but Drake repeated it till she got it right. “It means breath of fire, as you know the strongest part of a dragon is the flame produced from their core. There are different grades of fire breathing ranging from weaker dragon having little or low flame and royalty have fierce heat that can send an entire village down in flames. Breath of fire is an intense training technique where the dragon has to channel their energy into their lungs for an extended time till they breathe out fire as air. It is quite vigorous and painful to the lungs, it took me a year to learn” he explained. Elaina listened with rapt attention, intrigued to know more about dragons.

In just the blink of an eye, it reached Andrius’ face. Andrius did not dare to be careless and immediately infused true energy into the Linebreaker Overlord, swinging it. Boom! As they collided, a dull explosion reverberated throughout the arena. Andrius retreated dozens of feet in the air before finally stabilizing his figure. His expression became grim. That move just now was the legendary dragon’s breath! It was just as mighty as the true energy of immortal cultivators. Swoosh! Swish! Whoosh! As soon as Andrius stabilized himself, the dragon spewed out more breaths in succession. The light was dazzling and extremely dangerous.

Their loud groan almost stung her ears but it gave her spirit a boost. The two dragons let out a huge amount of fire and breath towards Damona but she swiftly dodge it and return the fire to the dragons that made them growl loudly. Damona summoned her weapon, it was her black bow and arrow that was burning with fire. She quickly aimed the arrow at the distracted dragon and released it quickly. Bull's-eye!

Trenton asked, taking a few steps back. “Okay, I see your point. While I don’t believe my father would have done that, I will take your word for it. Since you can turn back time, I will want you to show me what really happened back then, but later.” Cyran answered Trenton, as I held my breath to keep myself from throwing up. “First, let’s get rid of that black Dragon Mark.” Trenton waved his hand and a female, about my age stepped forward. She looked tiny and I couldn’t imagine that she was able to contain a Dragon within her. I knew there were female Dragons, but this was the first time I had seen one.

"We have far more advantage over you humans. In my Dragon form, I exude tremendous physical strength and power. I can break through the thickest rock walls and crush a stone with ease. I can toss a grown man like a doll and easily lift and carry a handful of grown men and women and even lift seventy-thousand to hundred thousand pounds, for over a hundred miles. I can breathe a large stream of searing hot, deadly, fiery-flames or napalm from my mouth and nostrils that can set anything aflame or melt almost anything it hits. These temperatures are hot enough to melt metals like iron and even stone. I can also breathe in both yellow, red, orange, and blue fire. When using my magic, I can form

The metal is freezing, and I can feel my body heat sapping away, along with my energy. My dragon growls furiously in my mind and sends fire running through my skin where it touches the chains. I feel it warm the metal momentarily before it becomes cold again. Cold Iron was also created to stay a cold temperature, it is nearly impossible to heat above negative fifteen degrees Celsius. I have no idea how it was ever created to be that way, but I do know that this entire room is made of it. This confinement and lack of energy is making my dragon angry, and that is never a good thing. There are four classes of dragons, fire, water, earth, and air. Each type has its own subclasses, each named aft
