The Enemy's Kiss

The Enemy's Kiss

Cole and I stopped and turned in his direction. He stopped running, bending forward and placing his hands on his knees, resting and catching his breath. “Wait,” he raised his one hand, still panting. He lifted his head and smiled at me. “Xian tried this new cookie recipe. Please try it,” he offered, giving me a small container filled with different sizes of cookies. “Don’t taste it if you want to live long, Brielle.” Cole laughed at him, shaking his head. “Don’t listen to him. Xian bakes great cookies.”

The Beta's Blind Date

The Beta's Blind Date

Reid muses, still smiling down at her. “With you as her father? It would be a crime if she didn’t.” “What kind do you think will be her favorite?” “All of them,” I say. “Except cookies with raisins,” he says, wrinkling his nose and gagging. “Whoever came up with that idea needs to be fined.” I laugh at him and shake my head, a yawn forcing its way out of my mouth. My body collapses back against the pillows again and I cover my mouth as the yawn extends and widens, scrunching up my cheeks, nose, and eyes.

This book is intriguing and different and makes you want to consume it, making it hard to put down. Allie Carstens made a well written story of a playboy who doesn't want a mate, but doesn't know how to feel when he gets what he's been wanting for long. It's sweet, with twists and will captivate you.

This story was sooo GOOD! I read it twice! I’m just so in love with it that I wish I had it as a book as well. I love the main characters in this. The story flowed so well, and it just kept me hooked! And I love that the main female is a person of color, there’s not a lot of that on here. Love this!

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Something that looked like brownies caught my attention. "What are these?" "They are made with prunes I think. Your guess is as good as mine." I reached over to grab one. I was curious because of the dark color and rough texture. "These are made with breadcrumbs, not flour! Soo good!!" I ate the whole square. "Eat your food first! And why are you standing?" Marcus said in an authoritative tone.

This book is my kind of escape. The sequence of events and lifestyle are surprisingly accurate, the story is interesting at the same time with something new coming up every chapter. I definitely encourage well thought out books like this. Keep up the good work!

I just started reading this and it's actually the only story I've actually read on this app! (I mainly use it to check on my own stories, and to find out what those are search Christy Pfeiffer in the search bar!!) So far so good! I felt bad for the heroine as her boyfriend dumped her 😔

GHOST RIDER: MY BIKER MAFIA STEP BROTHER

GHOST RIDER: MY BIKER MAFIA STEP BROTHER

Blair's P.O.V In the kitchen, Jane had indeed brought cookies; she might've gone a little overboard, though. There were so many different kinds—chocolate chip, sugar cookies, snickerdoodles, oatmeal raisin, and something that simply smelled like heaven involving peanut butter. My favorite. She sat at the counter, chatting with the cook, but her smile dimmed a little when she saw me. "Hey, Blair. Is everything okay? You look..."

THE STAINED LUNA: An Affair With My Mate's Father

THE STAINED LUNA: An Affair With My Mate's Father

“Wow, that's awful,” “Heh,” Cecil chuckled lightly, taking a sip from her tea. “He forgot me quicker than I thought.” I didn't press her for more details. It was clear from her expression and gestures that she wasn't comfortable talking about her past relationship, and honestly, I wasn't either. Taking a cue from her, I took a sip of my tea and selected one of the vibrantly colored cookies from the tray. “These are from Meyers. They make the best rainbow cookies,” Cecil informed me, a wide smile brightening her face.

Their Precious Mate

Their Precious Mate

Charlotte POV: "Do you think I made enough cookies?" I stared at the piles and piles of freshly baked cookies that were covering every inch of the counter. I made a small variety of shortbread, chocolate chip macadamia cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and macadamia cookies. The chocolate chips and nuts sunk deeply into the soft, baked dough, making sure that the eater had a taste of them with each and every bite. "If Timothy stops eatin' them they'll be more than enough." Raven sneered.

I really like this book but there are several repeat chapters. Beware of that before you purchase them. It also makes it a bit difficult to read as it throws the timeline off. This needs to be fixed. The book itself is great. Timothy and is mother hen act are hilarious. He is the best beta.

Completely enjoying the refreshing relationship between the alphas and Charlotte ... Ch's 41, 42, & most of 43 are repeats (as of 6/17/24), so skip 41 & 42. End of 43 is a random snippet of a scene that I can't tell if meant to be there, but probably adds to story; from unknown perspective

The Billionaire's Alternate Plan

The Billionaire's Alternate Plan

Higgins said to Julie. “Would it interfere with your day if I did a little baking? I need a hands-on activity that doesn’t require much thinking. “What did you have in mind?” Julie knew Ms. Higgins was thinking about her kitchen stock and the drain that would happen from this. “I’m considering baking cookies, but I need to see what ingredients we have first.” “I believe I have enough oatmeal. There are raisins, and I know you like cinnamon oatmeal and raisin cookies.” “That’s perfect. I’ll get what I need. I’ll try not to get in your way.”

Bienville Stamping Stephanie Stringfellow
I started this thinking here we go same as so many on the app. But seeing Michael realize things weren’t how he believed and taking a good look at himself was refreshing. Juliette and her struggles were handled in a way that she wasn’t shown as incompetent but handling her issues. Good read
Harper Blake
The book's complex language and spelling errors made it unclear at times. Dialogues were overly long, often feeling like therapy sessions, which could be boring. However, the sincere discussion of ADHD and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome showed the author's personal touch. Overall, I'm glad I read it.

Rain's Rebellion

Rain's Rebellion

“Would you like a cookie?” Rain’s eyes went to the trays of treats spread out before them. The woman rose, picking up one of the plates and tilting it so that Rain could better see what was available. “The oatmeal raisin is delightful,” she added. “I made them myself.” She winked in a motherly sort of way. Rain found herself stepping closer. She’d never had an oatmeal raisin cookie before, so she decided she may as well try it. Picking up the last one in the row, she found a smile. “Thanks.”

The Billionaire's First Glance

The Billionaire's First Glance

“I have never spent this much on cookies ever. Every single flavor was great. I could have stayed in the store and eaten samples all day.” “Here, you guys try one,” Kimmy said, handing Madison and me a cookie each. “They are amazing!” I took a bite. Damn, it was a delicious cookie. Macadamia nuts and coconut, so good. “Mmmm, that is so good,” I expressed. “I’ll need to grab a bunch before I leave Hawaii.” “I know, right?” Morgan said. “Nathan, just messaged me. We need to head for the car,” I advised.

Her Cold-Hearted Alpha

Her Cold-Hearted Alpha

Rayhan grabbed a cupcake and Alejandro went for a cookie. "These smell burnt…" "They taste fine." Raihana said innocently. "Meh…" He shrugged and took a big bite. Oops? The guys definitely took big bites… He gagged and spat it out into his hand. "Who the fuck made such crap?!" Me and Raihana burst into laughter at the look of complete annoyance and unhappiness on Raven's face, as she stood there hands now on her hips. "They are not that bad! The icing takes the edge off!" She grumbled.

I really loved this book. the daily updates made my morning... the first 2 in this series were very well written and I'm looking forward to the next one. thank you for your hard work. it is so awful when writers just abandon a story and characters the readers have invested time and caring into.
