she cried out, her voice barely audible over the roar of the guns. ​She stepped out from behind the server rack, her silhouette a dark blur in the smoke. She was running toward the crate where Roman was pinned down, her arm outstretched, the small silver drive glinting in the flickering strobe light of the muzzle flashes. ​Arthur Blackwood, blinded by the smoke and his own manic rage, saw a figure rushing toward his target. He saw a dark shape moving through the mist, coming at the spot where he knew Roman was hiding. To Arthur, it wasn't his daughter. It was one of the Ghost’s assassins coming to finish the job.
