I touched his little hand with my finger and he tightened around it. The feeling shattered me. This tiny person fighting so much to be alive. "Hello, baby." I whispered. "I'm your mama. I’m sorry I wasn’t around when you were first born. But I'm here now. And I'm not leaving." He gripped my finger hard. "What are we naming them?" I looked at Kade. "Ethan Arthur. After your brother and father." Perfect. "And our daughter?" Kade hesitated. "Celine Rose. After my first love. And for the fresh start she embodies.”

When I walked over to where they were, I could see the different outfits showing me that one was a boy and the other was a girl. "We have a boy and a girl," I said as the tears fell from my face. "Yes, we do, Princess. What do you want to name them?" Blake asked. "I don't know. What do you think?" I asked "Whatever you want, Princess. I was thinking we could name her Amelia," Blake said, and I looked at him with a smile on my face. "Really," I asked. I never thought about naming our daughter after my mom, but now that Blake brought it up, I wanted to name our daughter after her.

Blake did a double-take as he saw Caleb, and his expression morphed to one of true fear. “Mr. Paine,” he said. Caleb marched right up to him, grabbed his shirt with both of his hands, and pulled him in close. “Where’s my daughter?” he growled. Blake swallowed. “I don’t know. I swear. Why? Is she okay?” “Don’t you lie to me,” Caleb said. “Mr. Paine, I swear. I have no idea. I like Scarlet. I would never do anything—” “Is that why you invited her here? To get her drunk? To get her high?”

Blake said as he helped the man up. His voice was gruff as his heart was in his throat "Dad this is Blake Northman and the little girl your holding is his youngest Morganna."
