Ripper hands me my guns and I take them and check them before I leave the clubhouse with Rebel and Dante behind me. I kiss them both and take Rebel’s face in my hands and look into her honey coloured eyes. “We will find who did this and they will wish for death,” I say to her, her hands placed over mine. I place my forehead against hers, closing my eyes to centre myself. “Can’t have the reaper without his Scythe.” She whispers, and I open my eyes and look into hers. She knows who I am and what I am capable of. They don’t call me Scythe for nothing. The instrument of the Reaper. The instrument of death.

He moved like a storm, his blade singing through the air, his cloak trailing like smoke. But the Reapers didn’t falter. They circled. They struck. Kaelion blocked. Countered. Protected. — Then one broke through. A Reaper darted past Kaelion, blade raised, eyes locked on Luna. Aria screamed. Her mark flared. Time slowed. She reached out. The world exploded. — Flame erupted from her palm, engulfing the Reaper in a burst of golden fire. He screamed, his armor melting, his blade disintegrating. The others staggered, shielding their eyes.

It was the other man who made the suggestion, and both of them made a solemn oath to each other that they would never again discuss what happened that night. Before they eventually made their way home that night, they hurriedly dumped the corpses of Mr and Mrs Blair into the ocean and got rid of every piece of evidence that they could find before they did so... ****************** "A Luna has been reincarnated in two separate bodies, and her fate has been divided as a result of the curse that she carries. One will usher in an era of tranquility for the human race, while the second will usher in an era of calamity for her kind!"

"During the experiment in class, I watched every one of you students closely and noticed that even after chanting the spell correctly and healing the cut on your specimens, a scar is still left on the wounded region. Of course, it should be that way, totally normal if you ask me but yours, it was something else. You healed the cut quite right, but the spot remain good as new, like nothing happened in the first place. I could have sworn that you never cut your specimen if I did not see it with my very own eyes. That is the reason I was perplexed, Nyx, yours was exceptional," Narek explained and I swallowed harshly. "That was the same thing a vamp in class told me. She goes by the name Liz and

Carissa felt her lips stiffen; she wasn't sure what to say in front of Rey. . "I know, this must feel foreign to you, but you know, every day, you will be here accompanying me to work, or at least we will meet to let go," Rey smiled when telling her the habits she used to do with Bella. Carissa, who heard that, smiled faintly. The love story of Bella and Rey was very sweet; it's just that fate was so cruel, Bella actually died, and now there is only Bella's body filled with Carissa's soul.

The bodies of the two attackers did not feel like ordinary flesh but more akin to puppets. "Who are you people?" Chase roared, his voice filled with fury. The black-clad man coughed blood, a grim smile on his lips. "Who are we? Haha... We're reapers. Everything on you... is ours now!" As he spoke, the man slammed a hand over the wound on his chest. A thumb-sized green talisman materialized, emitting a sharp, piercing hum.

A void replaced the pain, but it left a hollow ache. Years passed. I lived as a reaper. Cold. Efficient. Detached. I watched lives end and guided souls to their fates. One gloomy afternoon, I saw my mother's name written in the Death Note. I didn’t flinch. No fear. No sadness. Nothing.... Maybe it’s because I’m no longer human— Just a cold-blooded shell of what I used to be. I reaped my mother’s soul with steady hands. No tears, no hesitation. When it was done, I packed my things and left for Germany— an order from Thanatos.

Instead, your soul will enter another body with no memories, and the cycle will start all over again. Since your soul was pure, he set you free and even gave you the chance to fight for your life. That doesn't happen. But maybe..." Her eyes search the room. Something's off with her sudden chance- she's no

Standing on the garden path, looking at me, with an expression that contained absolutely nothing and somehow communicated everything — the particular blankness of someone who has just registered an unexpected presence and is processing it with the same systematic efficiency they apply to battlefield reports. My Soul Sight detonated. Not gently. Not the tentative threads of childhood or the quiet certainty of seven years of distance.
