“I’m no genius, but I’m pretty sure even I know that code daddy dearest was talking in was referring to us.” Ghost scoffed, then snorted, then shook his head incredulously. “Who’s who then?” “Isn’t it obvious?” Knight clicked his teeth. “You’re the orchids. He said they’re commonly used in funerals. Funerals happen in graveyards, which is commonly where ghosts are found.” He shot a finger gun at Ghost. “Fire lily is Damon, clearly. I’m the moonflowers.” Shadows snaked across the floor, rolling over the wood like a dark fog. He gestured down at the sea of darkness. “Duh. And Caius is the rose, because he’s a prickly ass bastard.”

I could drown in them without making an attempt to survive. "Daniel, you need to get up. The stitches on your back have opened. You are bleeding. I need to stitch them again." Flower spoke as she tore away her gaze from mine as a deep shade of red crept up her cheeks. As her words slowly registered in my overwhelmed brain. I picked myself from her as I stood up. Eleanor was quick to respond as she got up from the bed too. Damn, did my presence have no effect on her senses like she did on mine? Looks like I have a long way to go.

At least not yet. Then, a single notification popped up. My heart nearly jumped out of my throat, but it wasn’t from anyone of them. Noah Sinclair: I hope you slept well, Danny. The lilies should be blooming by now. I stared at it for a full minute. Lilies? Who even talks like that? It was so polite it felt like a threat in a different language. I didn't reply. I couldn't. My thumbs felt like lead. I just swiped the notification away and threw the phone across the bed. I wasn't doing this today. I wasn't trading one person who wanted to own me for another one who sent me flowers like he was my long lost husband.

There were still traces of blood on the gallows. Blood blooms from Daley's white clothes. I stared at his clothes for a long time. The little dried blood was like flaming poppies, and they were so beautiful with the white roses. It's a twisted beauty! "Are you ready?" He asked. "Yes." I smiled at him.

Lifting the glass, the air rushing over him, Danny realized his mistake quickly; the scent of his soulmate traveled on the breeze, bringing him to his knees. He gripped the table and accidentally tipped the vase of flowers off the surface. The vase shattered to the floor, lilies spilling to the wood below, but Danny was unconcerned with the mess as he writhed in his jeans. They had to come off before he soaked right through them. Sweat bloomed over his skin, his breath harsh to his ears. His soul was on the brink of something, but Danny couldn't understand; he and his soul were both too far gone to communicate with each other.

A man in his twenties, 6'11, covered in tattos with short kept black hair, and the most beautiful green eyes i've ever seen. "Alpha Wyatt? What's wrong? Is everything okay??" Aunt Tara asked in a panic state. He didn't take his eyes off me. He started growling, and even though my heart was pounding, I couldn't look away. Something was pulling me towards him. He smelled delicious, and was sexy as hell.

Soon, they walked out of the bamboo forest and went to the garden which was planted Epiphyllum. "Put me down." She took two deep breaths. He put her down and sat with her on the chair in front of the Epiphyllum. The Epiphyllum had already bloomed, and the white flowers were gorgeous. But the crying sound of the bamboo grove took her attention away. "Ice guy, is there really a ghost in that yard?" "Little fool, there are no ghosts in this world, only people have ghosts in their hearts." Said Daniel as he put his arm around her shoulders.

“What did you want with her blood?” Dr. Webber’s body stiffened as the command took hold. She fought against it, but she didn’t stand a chance. Her lips began to move, and the words spilled out before she could stop them. “It… it was for Valentine,” she said, her voice trembling. “He needed her blood to complete the Petal Bloom.” The words sent a chill down my spine. Petal Bloom. My mind raced back to what Conan had told me about it…a dangerous, forbidden drug that could be used to subdue and wipe out the hybrids. It was going to be powerful drug, drug that could only be completed with the blood of someone like Raelynn.
