Bloom was amazing with her necklace. When we swam up, we saw the monster fishes and for a while, they did nothing because of course they never expected anyone to escape from their cage. They attacked immediately and Bloom drew on her powers, she directed them at them and it took them apart, scattering and throwing them apart like bits of stone. They all rushed at Bloom again and she prepared a bigger blast that shook the old stones that had been stuck for years, about half the monster fishes died.

"You're cute." Snarling, I bare my canines at him. "Watch it." "I figured all ladies like to be called cute." "Not this lady." I raised my fist and aimed straight for his jaw. Unfortunately, the tip of the dagger sliced down the ground the same moment his weight under me disappears. Before I could react, a voice whispers close to my ear from behind, "Indeed, you are too beautiful to kill, Leaxandra." It was a late reaction when I swung my weapon behind, only for my hand to get caught midair.

Iris screamed followed by another loud sound that came from Leonard's side. "Alex... Finish him...." But no one was ready to hear anything. Leonard was watching the fight as he knew his brother was more than capable of handling a roguelike Tyler. The fight went on and all Iris could see was his father losing the battle. Her mind was getting blank. She could feel certain dizziness. She saw him thrown by Alex and then everything around her froze. Her feet stumbled as her body leaned backward but a painful grip came to hold her at her place. Leonard gripped her cheek while standing behind her to let her look at the disaster with her own eyes.

a female spoke from further away. "What? Just stating the truth." the boy named Xander replied with a huff before falling silent. "What are your names, little ones?" the female asked. "I'm Chloe and my brother is Kade. We're twins." Chloe said a little louder. "I'm Kimberly, I've been here for five years. So you're witches?" she said. "Not all the way witches. Our mommy is a werewolf." Chloe spoke up from Kade's side. "Well that explains why they brought you here. They don't like us wolves." Xander spoke up again.

"Dr...She...She's not doing so well. Her illness is spreading at a faster rate. I'm afraid it will only take a few weeks before it reaches her brain. This will kill her. What makes them the best though is their heart, and if Blake doesn't notice Bloom then it's his loss. We fall into a comfortable silence and I plug in my earphones. In case you haven't noticed, I love music.

Freya’s nails, which were cut like daggers, sliced against Cassiopeia's cheek, leaving a visible claw mark. Cassiopeia was bewildered by what Freya was saying. "I don't know what you are talking about. Let me go." "You’re still lying!" Freya gestured at the pale-looking Liam, who was lying on the bed, and teared up. I clenched my hands tighter as the pain in my palm seared. … I had no idea how long we walked for. The sun seemed to have climbed to its peak. I was finally allowed to remove the blindfold. Before me stretched a winding, narrow path that ended in a bottomless cave. Beside it stood a towering, ancient tree. Its scent of osmanthus drifted even from afar. The villagers said the tree had absorbed the essence of countless Blossom Brides. That was what made it so tall and fragrant. When we were thirty feet away from the cave, the procession abruptly stopped.

Rosemary It had been a few months since the battle that had turned my life upside down - the day we lost Dylan, the day Aurora was born, and the day I discovered I was a hybrid. Those events had left scars on all of us, visible and invisible. Since then, I have spent most of my days training, both with my wolf and with the magic that pulsed through my veins.
