Travails of Oluwole

Travails of Oluwole

I said returning the poke in a less friendly manner. “Of course they do. All you have to do is open your mouth and let large words and musical notes fly out. Sounds easy if you ask me but too bad I’m not the ‘music’ or the ‘singing’ type unlike someone.” I heard Gar say taking another lick on his Popsicle.

I just binged your whole story! Poor little Wole, so much pain and his life is just beginning. Such an interesting premise (esp. Chap 10!! but I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read that far yet), and I love the way you introduce your characters. I feel as if I know them.

This is by far the best book I've read in a very long time. I'm hooked! Chapter 2 almost made me cry. Now I'm wondering if Dr. Samuel and Wole will ever meet and how!? I'm also wondering if Wole will regain his memory and how will he react towards Charles when he does! Update soon??

A LUNA'S REVENGE

A LUNA'S REVENGE

He was happy, free to be a man as he wanted to be. “Frostilicious!” Rebecca shouted in delight. He turned. There was a little stand just by the corner with FROSTLICIOUS! FROST LICKED ICE CREAM designed in fancy ink writing all over the stand. A young boy of about fourteen stood behind the stand with a barefaced smile on his face. “I want one," she said. “I’d tell Tony when I see him.” Rebecca glared at him, forgetting her smile for a while. “And I thought you were a gentleman.”

STEP ASIDE EX-HUSBAND: THE RISE OF LIANA

STEP ASIDE EX-HUSBAND: THE RISE OF LIANA

Just clean glass, and a scenery dripping of modern art. Stanley was already there, leaning out the edge with two glasses and a grin that made it hard to stay mad at him. "To victories we never boast of," he said, handing me a chilled glass of prosecco. I raised mine in return. "To fools who make it easy." We sipped. He looked at me over the rim. "Are you going to tell me exactly what you put in that clause, or must I read the lawyer's wording for myself?" "It's brief. Just enough to hang him on his own pride."

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

“Public. Wholesome. Full of his neighbors and his kids’ teachers. Let him stand in the sunshine and eat a corn dog next to the people his work is helping to strangle. Let that do the work.” Lanc let out a short, surprised laugh. “Psychological warfare via kettle corn. I’m in.” The Saturday market was a riot of autumn color and cheerful noise. Pumpkins, jars of honey, the tang of apple cider filled the air. Clara’s booth, selling “Art Supplies for Future Troublemakers,” was doing a brisk business. Arthur was, inexplicably, winning at a ring-toss game run by the Rotary Club. I was manning a pie stand, naturally.

The Brother Who Wasn't Mine To Love

The Brother Who Wasn't Mine To Love

Knox gave his own opinion and Carlene gave April a lopsided smile. "I made the white one, Carlene made the pink one," April revealed and sat down in her seat. Everyone was surprised and Iver paused, immediately dropping the pink popsicle. "Now that I think about it, I think the white one tasted better, it kind of has a special flavor I can't explain. I can't get enough of it," he lied, devouring the white popsicle exaggeratedly. Collin snickered and April just ignored Iver, digging into her food.

Alpha King's Human Mate

Alpha King's Human Mate

My exhilaration increased as Orpheus and I joined the gathering. There was a large open space at the end of the street, and stands selling refreshments and various cheering accessories lined both sides of the main walkway. I inhaled deeply, taking in the aroma of hotdogs and popcorn that had combined. The delicious flavour made my lips drool, and I was eager to try them all. I took a quick look at the enormous sponge hands, hats sporting the insignia of the competing teams, t-shirts, pom-poms, blowers, and a number of other unfamiliar objects.

The Billionaire's Regret

The Billionaire's Regret

“Deal or not?” Javier tried not to laugh. “Okay, fine. No pinch, no kiss, no kartoshka, no stealing candy.” He held up three fingers like he was being sworn in. “Just for today. Tomorrow, we renegotiate.” “No,” Poppy cut in quickly. “Today and tomorrow. And… until I’m grown.” “How old is ‘grown’?” I asked. Poppy thought hard. “Twenty-three. Like Mommy when… when…” She glanced at me, remembering something she absolutely shouldn’t mention. “When Mommy had a stupid idea.”
