"Aurelia. Come here." I blinked, looking around the room. "Me? Jean or Claude could literally carry you like a feather." "They are not my caretaker. You are," Lucien said, his tone thick with a feigned, dramatic weakness that didn't match the lethal glare he was giving his men. "My chest hurts. I only trust your hands to guide me." Jean looked at me, then looked at his boss, a subtle, knowing glint appearing in the guard's eyes as he quickly stepped back. "Right. Apologies, Boss. Ms. Aurelia, please."

Noel's heart thudded as he watched him. "Who are you?" he rasped out, voice hoarse from disuse. The young man didn’t lift his eyes. "I'm Jean," he said simply, as if that name should explain everything. Noel tried to sit up. A slow, stubborn motion. Jean's eyes…startlingly pale blue, almost silver…finally looked up at him. "You really shouldn't." Noel ignored the warning and pushed himself upright, leaning heavily against the pillows, breath shallow from the exertion.

His gaze moves to me and he looks longingly. Bluey scoffs, opening the door for Dante to carry me out while eyeing Lucien. At the house, they lay me on the bed and I thrash about weakly. My thoughts were in scrambles and the darkness is upon me now. “Hold her down,” Lucien insists as he enters the room. Dante grabs my hands holding it to the bed and I notice Bluey blocking someone at the door. “Move away Jaxon. I’m breaking rules here pretty boy and I don't see you contributing, now step aside, I need him,” Lucien snaps as he starts bringing out red candles frok a bag.

"He went out with Mikhail, April. They're busy with something." Without missing a beat, April snapped, "Call him. Now." Bluey, taken aback by her tone, quickly grabbed her phone and dialed Lucifer’s number. When Lucifer answered, his voice was calm, almost dismissive. "I’m busy right now, Bluey. I can’t come back. Whatever it is, it can wait."

Bluey immediately dropped her glass of champagne, her eyes twisting with anger but suddenly her face got insipid. “Who is this person who will look for you Veronica? Who!” Bluey asked smugly. However, just when Veronica wanted to say the name, bluey completed her sentence. “Lucien white?” She pressed her lips together, the corners twitching despite her effort to remain composed. “Wait.. how did you”. Nobody knew about her and Lucien, in fact he wouldn't even talk to her but she was so sure he was going to come for her, because of their past relationship together.

Jasmin quizzed. “That's fine let's go” Bluey replied and turned to open the door. Jasmin tried to follow her to catch a glimpse of the legend, but her phone rang. She picked it up and it was a relative calling to offer her condolences forcing her to stay back and let Bluey descend alone. She mouthed to Bluey that she will see him later. When Bluey stepped out of the apartment building, the air seemed to hum with a different frequency.

After quite a few moves Nezeira, along with a witty fighting tactic managed to slice off the beasts head. Yihan, stood like a statue, his heart thumped against his chest at a dangerous speed.
