“You’re good at making people sound like themselves,” she said.
“That’s the job,” Corin said.
“You’re also good at making them sound better than they are,” she said. “I want the opposite.”
Corin looked at her.
“Tell me what you mean,” Corin said.
“I’ve been managing my image for thirty years,” she said. “I’m tired of it. I want a book that’s actually true.”
“True means different things to different people,” Corin said.
