He walked over, scanning the titles until one caught his attention. “How to Be a Better Man.” He let out a small, dry laugh under his breath. Of course. He pulled it out and stared at the cover for a moment before opening it and flipping through the first few pages. The words were simple. Straightforward. Advice. Steps. Explanations. He tried to read. He really did. But after a few lines, his mind drifted again.

I, Richard Newman, had been together with my girlfriend, Shanine Graham, for a long time. She was very innocent. I asked, following him into the room deeper, my earlier embarrassment fading away. He didn't answer me, his entire focus on the book, I leaned down and read the title. Typical. “How to make money. Business ethics? Is that what you read? There are so much better books than this and how the hell were you even reading this in the dark?” I asked, incredulously. He sighed and looked up at me with an irritated tone. “I read this book every night, I know it word for word. I also see very well in the dark, Mrs Warner”

“My subconscious mind is curious. Come on, humour me. What sub-dom freaky freaky are you reading this time?” My cheeks instantly burned red in embarrassment. Just one time, I had left my phone unlocked so I could use the bathroom that Luca peered into my screen and read the words there. Just that one time, and he's still holding it against me. I narrowed my eyes at him playfully. “For your information, it's actually not one of my fictional novels. It's a self-help book titled ‘first time mom? Grab a chair’,” I said. Luca looked a bit surprised. “That’s amazing. Strange title, though.”

I mustn't call him all the time, dashed out of my couch after laughing at myself for sleeping on a couch for the night and entered the bathroom, I took a good bath and went straight to my wardrobe and got a simple dress, but a beautiful one too. I echo my thoughts, curious about getting my hands on it. "So, basically the same premise of mine? Isn't this like some kind privacy breach?" Damon shrugs his shoulders. As if he cares.

Seth whispered to himself, determined. Elsewhere, Jasmine was engrossed in her book, sitting in a small bookstore recommended by Fiona. The bookstore wasn't large, but it was filled with unique and interesting book collections. Many old books caught Jasmine's attention, and now she had already selected two books to buy. Jasmine's steps halted when her eyes fell on a book titled **"The Philosophy of Love and Betrayal"**. A wistful smile formed on her face. Over the weekend, Trevis and I visited the mall and bought a stack of books, "Spoiling My Beloved Wife", "The Intimate Moments with My Boss", " Mr. Billionaire, Don’t Run Away" ...and many more. Trevis looked a bit awkward at the checkout counter, with the cashier, a young lady, repeatedly stealing glances at him. I stood behind him, wearing a big smile. No fucking way was the god of wolves cracking open a self-help book from the mortal realm. Sure enough, he fanned through the book eagerly, skipping over several chapters in the process. The tip of his tongue appeared from between his plump lips. He found the page he’d been looking for and quickly skimmed it. With a satisfied hum, he chucked the book behind his shoulder where it was swallowed up by that strange, shimmering magic.
