She was stopped by one of them. “The sign.” Coral was confused by his words. “Pardon?” “Show me the sign.” “Pardon, but I don't know what sign you are talking about.” The two men exchanged a glance before asking her about the BOOKED sign on her phone. “Oh! That! Here's the sign” she said, showing the screen of her phone to the men. They bobbed their heads and gestured with their arms to go inside. Coral smiled short and went ahead. The lighting changed from dim to bright and sensual. The marbled floor where she could see her face clearly, walls painted in the shade of red that reminded her of the movie Fifty shades of Grey.

Thirty-one nights down. The real storm was only beginning.

She looked pampered and polished and expensive, like a trophy on display. "There's a book on the nightstand," Lena said quietly as the others began packing up their supplies. "The boss thought you might want something to read while you wait." I walked back to the bedroom on legs that felt like they belonged to someone else. The book was waiting for me on the nightstand, a novel I had never heard of with a cover that showed a woman standing at the edge of a cliff, looking out at a stormy sea. I picked it up and settled into the chair by the window, the silk of my dress rustling against the upholstery.

Just the certainty of who stood beside you when difficult things arrived. Outside, night deepened slowly beyond the windows. Inside, laughter and arguments tangled together upstairs while warm light filled the rooms below. And the house held all of it within its walls. The noise. The peace. The love. The kind of man you read about but never meet. Except I had. Last night. Oh God. My pulse thundered in my ears. What had I done? I tried to think past the blur, past the heat and the music and the taste of champagne. I remembered my friend tugging at my wrist, telling me to loosen up, to live a little. “We will be at the room soon.” And at the room soon we were and once inside, the clothes were disappearing and we barely made it to the bed. I took my time reading, and another hour went by. On finishing the third book, I realised I hadn’t read them in the right order. It seemed Finding the One was the first book, followed by The Claiming Rites, and then Under the Red Moon. This was a trilogy that needed to be read in the right order. I stared closely at the books and found the numbers on them written on each book from one to three, just like I arranged them. These numbers were written on the drawn-out full moon on the bottle right of the book’s front page, and, being set beside each other in the formal order, the full moon glowed.

Cole's PoV Friday 12 July 2019 ************************** I've only got one more week of school left! However I have a lot of exams in that last week of school so Nathan and Marcus are making me work my ass off to revise. So much so that I'm missing Lacey's first night at the club. It's been about a month since Lacey had her guest night and she's been training with Marcus to be a dominant. She had her official test yesterday and passed with flying colours so she's welcome to have her first proper night tonight.

How do I take care of this child? What do I do now? Getting rid of it is definitely not an option, I don’t want blood on my hands. How do I even break this news to Angela?
