Warm lips touched the side of her neck. “What are you reading?” Ryke asked. His voice was rough from sleep. Liera turned the book so he could see the cover.

She loved reading romance novels. The MLs in these books are so different than the real-life men. The love they show feels so pure. She wondered if she would ever get to experience that kind of love. The thought caused her feeling giddy. She wants her man to be possessive, a little bit obsessive, and hella romantic. Someone who will kiss the ground she walks on. Someone who will choose her and only her every time. She will be his first choice.

I looked at the spines for titles, Romeo and Juliet, Wuthering Heights and The Notebook.

He nodded in response. "Yeah, boring. No one reads a book like that these days except you," he told me. I raised my eyebrow. "Excuse me? For your information, this is a romance book. It's written by a famous writer, Jorelle Montividad, and it's not just an ordinary and boring book you say," I replied to him. "I don't even know who that is." That's because you're dumb. "That's because you have no taste in books, tsk!"
