XENA'S POV."What do you mean you want to be a female gigolo?" I asked staring at my best friend Raven. She sounds really stupid now I couldn't help but think."Hey, calm down babe I was just joking." Raven replied me and giggled which exposed her cute dimples as she threw a pillow on me."You better be." I replied and rolled my eyes at her."Whatever." She retorted."Seriously!""Ahhh Xena stay away from me." Raven laughed and kept on running around my room as I chased after her."Gotcha!" "How can you be so fast Xena? Raven said grumpily.I could only stick out my tongue at her and giggled.Bang! Bang!!.I heard a loud knock on my door and immediately I and Raven froze because we both knew who could do that."Did she not hear me knocking!?" The voice of my stepmother stated from the outside of my room.I became nervous because she has warned not to let Raven into our house again. My bestfriend at that.My stepmother, hmmmm not that I'm scared of her or something but the fact that my dad loves for her keeps me unwilling to do anything stupid.So, I didn't mention.I was told by my dad that my mom died few months after I was born and this made him really broken both emotionally and physically."Xena!" She screamed my name.Why wouldn't I let my friend come into my house? Meanwhile Tessa, my stepsister comes in with anyone she wants.The realization of this made me courageous.I creaked open the door and peeked my head out, I could see from side profile that Raven was seething in anger.Yeah that's who my best friend is, a no nonsense type."Who is in there with you?" My step mom asked me with hands akimbo."No one other that Raven." I retorted."You've ready grown to the extent of replying me rudely right?" She questioned.Earth knows I would soon punch her right on her face... But yeah I can't do that.My step mom is a very strong werewolf, her skills at martial arts are superb I must say. To sum it up, she's a very strong wolf in our pack, so me punching her was nearly impossible.I didn't respond to her question, I just stared at her."Didn't I ask a question? And why is Raven here? She questioned me without taking a breather.This is one thing about her, she acts all goody and nice and all good thank you can think of when my dad is around. But when he's not at home.... Boom! Here comes queen jezebel."Why?" I asked her."Why what? She questioned me back.""Why can't I let Raven here? She's my friend and Tessa brings anyone in after all." I retorted. Just then Tessa walked in with her friends, rolled her eyes at me and walked off to her room. She didn't even greet.... I mean her mom because I don't give a fvck about her greetings.My stepmother became mute immediately." You! Hmph" She hmphed and walked away. What else does she want to do apart from that, I caught her off the hook. I closed my door behind me and saw something surprising.Raven just sat on the bed, a thin line on her lip and i guess she's trying to suppress her laugher."What's so........"Boom!Raven burst Into laughter. I became mute and just stared at her blinking my eyes confusedly and it made her laugh harder.Well I know she laughed like that because of how made my queen jezebel of a stepmother speechless.I just ignored her and went to my bathroom to take a warm shower.**** "Uhmmmm, jace what are you talking about because I dont really get you."
