I don’t want to be clawed by a rogue again. I walk to the gazebo. I decided to spend some time here before going to bed. I opened again the book, this time I can open it with my bare hands. The pages are blank and I wanted to figure out how to read this. I put it on the table where the moonlight reaches my book and letters suddenly appear. I look again in the book and words started to form. I smiled as I discover how to read it. I started to read the book and it has the story for kids in here. I enjoyed reading some stories and wondered who was the author of the stories.

I frowned as I drew closer, curious. “What are these?” I asked, lowering myself onto the floor beside the table. “This is step one,” he said simply, dropping into the armchair across from me. “If you’re serious about learning human language, we will start from the foundation. Children’s books.” I stared at the stack of books, bright covers with smiling cartoon animals stared back at me. It almost felt insulting to me, an adult, expected to sit like a child and sound out human words. It's fine I'm used to enduring humiliation at the hands of my pack.

The title of the book, with its light blue hardcover and beautiful illustrations, made me stare at it for a long time. My hand moved to my belly unconsciously. For some reason, that title felt too personal... “Little bear...” I murmured softly. “Do you love Mama the most too?” I had read somewhere that babies could hear voices while still inside the womb. If you read to them, it would be beneficial. A small smile appeared on my face. “Let’s read about the little bear... and should we get some other books too?” I whispered. Then I walked inside. Entering the bookstore felt like entering a whole new world.

Her angelic blue eyes shone through the pleased smile on her face. “Now,” she had said, settling down in my arms as I sat in my tall chair. She was so petite that she could fit into my lap, which is exactly what she was doing now. “This,” Lydia said, “is going to be the first book that I will read to each of my babies.” “What’s this?” I had asked her, tracing a finger softly down her cheek. “It’s The Little Prince,” she had replied, “I’ve always loved this book.”

“Can you at least tell us what they say?” He shook his head. “I’m afraid not. Another thing you need to work out. I can, however give you this.” He gave me one of the books on his desk. I opened it. There were pictures in it. An apple on the first page, a ball on the second, a cat on the third... a basic kid’s learn to read book. “We don’t have time to learn your language now. Just read them for us.” Grayson shook his head. “That’s not how it works.”

"What do you think is wrong honey?" I asked James. "Hmmm, I don't know. I think I'll get the book." He mused. Of course, he would get the book. It was a book about babies, from the day they were born until they turned one year old. It was like his bible for everything concerning our baby girl.
