Back to the way she had whispered, “Hey, baby.” I closed the file, leaning back in my chair. This was a problem I needed to control immediately. Because the truth was, I had seen women like Jade before: strong, independent, resilient. They were supposed to be predictable. They were supposed to adapt and move on. They were not supposed to linger in your mind. I stood and walked toward the window. The city stretched out below, quiet and distant. Controlled. Orderly. Exactly how I preferred things. Unlike this. Unlike whatever this was becoming.

Bearing Triplets After Forced Marriage

Bearing Triplets After Forced Marriage

Rivers had a very strong sense of superiority. Mrs. Wang next to her covered her mouth and chuckled. "Mrs. Rivers, you are saying that she doesn't seem to have a husband to dote on her." Mrs. Rivers said sarcastically, "Mrs. Wang, how can you say that about her? She is a female entrepreneur. Does she need a man to dote on her?" Mrs. Wang deliberately said loudly, "Even the most powerful woman needs someone to rely on. Only women without someone to rely on work so hard.

Mated To My Step-brother And His Best friend

Mated To My Step-brother And His Best friend

“You’re turning twenty-one soon, sweetheart. You’ll get your wolf, and things will change naturally. You don’t need to fill your head with all that… nonsense about domination and power.” “It’s not nonsense,” I shot back, closing the book but keeping my finger between the pages. “Tera told me it helped her when she got her wolf. She said women like us — the ones everyone underestimates — usually get the strongest ones if we stop doubting ourselves. That’s why I’m reading it. I just… I don’t want to be weak anymore, Mum.” “You’re not weak,” she said quietly. “Then why does everyone treat me like I am?”

Alpha's Regret, His Rejected Luna is Hidden Heiress

Alpha's Regret, His Rejected Luna is Hidden Heiress

She must be up to something, coming here, acting so pitiful. “Help you?” I muttered. “What a disappointment.” Anita pressed on, her tone even more pitiful. “Can’t you just resign? Men don’t like strong, independent women. If you keep going like this, Justin will abandon you sooner or later” I sneered at her coldly and asked in a sharp tone, “Do you think all men are as blind as Richard? Do you think they’ll all fall for a weak, manipulative scumbag like you?”

The Jock - The Ashford Brothers Series - Book Four

The Jock - The Ashford Brothers Series - Book Four

I still have nightmares about everything that happens and I really don’t know how she is coping so well with everything. Tatum proves to me every day that she is a strong, independent woman. She rules with an iron fist, hoping women that have been raped by sports people, or people with money that usually are untouchable. She is making so much noise that people now tremble when they hear her name. She is an amazing woman and when I think I wouldn’t be able to love her more than I do now; she does something that proves me wrong. The woman is a hurricane that came into my life and turned everything upside down but in a good way.

From Simp to Queen

From Simp to Queen

Vivian was so angry that his chest was heaved. Lena walked directly into the elevator. She originally did not want to tear things apart so soon. However, Vivian paraded herself as a modern independent woman while looking down on others with an air of superiority. And yet, her confidence came from belittling other women. Claiming to be an independent woman while putting down others, what part of that was independent? She was nothing more than a high-level pick-me girl. Lena arrived at the meeting place with the real estate agent, who was very polite to her.

The lost packs

The lost packs

He looks at me intently, reaching for my hand. I let him take it, and for the first time, my heart finds stillness amid the chaos of our lives. “But she never let anyone doubt her strength or independence. She hated appearing weak. She wouldn’t tolerate anyone contradicting her, and she saw violence as the ultimate solution to every problem. She was the center of her own universe, and in that way, she became the center of everyone else’s too.” I watch as our fingers intertwine, as if they’ve suddenly developed a life of their own, free from our conscious control.

Triplet Alpha Claim

Triplet Alpha Claim

Though the mate bond between us still hummed in the background, a soft but unrelenting pulse, it was eclipsed by something far more powerful: a sense of self that no biological imperative could override. And so, as I followed them out of the office, the setting sun casting long shadows across the room we left behind, I felt the indescribable weight of a chapter closing. I had reclaimed my agency, asserted my terms, and stepped into a future of my own making. And if that's not the hallmark of a strong woman, I don't know what is.

Katherine Jones
the book is good but could use a little bit more proof reading. some different phrases as well instead of saying the same things to each of the brothers. they have different personalities so it would have been nice for it to have been more personal with them. it was a good book none the less.
Victoria Star
it's a good story but author need to focus more on math because is really bad. FL is ninthteen and was in school for eight years so she must go there when she was eleven, but author told us that big heart broken was when she was fifthteen what is four not eight years ago.

The Runaway Heiress:Seven Days of Sin

The Runaway Heiress:Seven Days of Sin

The energy Nox radiated electrified me, bringing to life a forbidden desire that I didn't want to acknowledge. Successful women stood on courthouse steps and spoke with poise and determination. They studied hard, worked tirelessly, and made a name for themselves. Alex Collins didn't need a Mrs. in front of her name or a man standing beside her. She had a future built on her own blood, sweat, and tears. She shouldn't be a woman who melted at the sound of a deep voice. A successful woman didn't go to dinner with a stranger just because he told her to. Nor did they dampen their panties at the mere suggestion of what else he may tell her to do.
